Down to two

[name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]
[name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m]
or
[name_u]Harbor[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]
[name_u]Harbor[/name_u] [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m]
Yes we realize that we’d have a [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and a [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] but we both LOVE it so much that we’re willing to risk it.

Siblings are [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].

I have trouble picturing [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] on a real live human who is going to have to interact with peers, apply for jobs, etc. I think it’s a cool name in theory but it’s honestly just difficult for me to see this as an actual first name. It also reminds me of harboring a grudge, and then with sister Pearl… that’s three strikes for me.

So with that said, I much prefer [name_u]Merritt[/name_u]. It’s strong and handsome but not overly masculine. It’s recognizable and versatile. [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] can be someone of any age and any personality. [name_f]My[/name_f] personal favorite of your [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] combos is [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]. I just think it flows better on the tongue than [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m], but that’s just my personal preference.

I would pick [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]! It’s fabulous!

I would very much NOT do [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] as sibling names. It’s a lovely name but a bad idea in the sibset. I would do [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] as a middle. So maybe [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_u]Harbor[/name_u]? That sounds great too! [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Harbor[/name_u]?

[name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is my fave!

If it was [name_u]Arbor[/name_u] instead of [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] I might choose that…

[name_u]Harbor[/name_u] doesn’t seem especially namey to me and different from his siblings names

i would absolutely not choose [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] - you’d be introducing them as [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], and [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] for quite some time, and i’m sure that you’d get weird looks or comments because of [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_u]Harbor[/name_u]. would you consider it as a middle? [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_u]Harbor[/name_u]?

beyond that, [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] is more namey to me and fits [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] really well. it’s a better choice all around, imo. [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is my favorite!

[name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] is great.

No, [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] in the same family is ill-fated. [name_u]Or[/name_u], will the [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] come and save them?

Definitely [name_u]Merritt[/name_u]. I like [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] best. I wouldn’t use [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] with sister [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].

I love both options for [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] 🩵

Does [name_u]Arbor[/name_u] give you similar vibes to [name_u]Harbor[/name_u]? I love that with your other kids’ names, and I think it works better with [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].

i really like merritt ezekiel, that’s very handsome! i’m going to echo other poster’s comments about not using pearl and harbour together for siblings.

[name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is dreamy

I actually really like [name_u]Harbor[/name_u], I think it is a sharp-sounding name, but…

I think you would be saying “Pearl Harbor” a lot. If [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] was just a place, even a very famous place, I don’t think it would matter. But it isn’t just a place. It is synonymous with an event that resulted in the deaths of 2,400 people (including a family member of mine). It feels cruel to name your kids [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_u]Harbor[/name_u]. Would you name them [name_u]September[/name_u] and [name_u]Eleven[/name_u]? [name_u]Or[/name_u] Hollow and Cost? Nope. For this reason, I don’t think [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] should be considered, even though it is a cool name by itself.

[name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is a very cool choice though.

I vote for [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]. Avoid [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] at all cost. Seriously.

I love both first name options! I’m going to pick [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] as my personal favourite :hugs:

[name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Soloman[/name_m] is gorgeous!! [name_u]Strong[/name_u], cool and perfect with [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].

I would definitely avoid [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] & [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] together.

Echoing this!

I agree with everyone else - please don’t use [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] as a first name. As a middle, no problem - [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] is great!

I much prefer [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] to [name_u]Harbor[/name_u]! [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] sounds soft and joyful much like [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]! I won’t go into too much detail, but I agree with others on this thread that [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] just isn’t a usable first name, especially in your family. [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] is a wonderful name though, and [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] & [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] sound so lovely together! [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] would be my first choice, but [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] is a very close second! Both are terrific options. If you are very attached to [name_u]Harbor[/name_u], perhaps you’d go for two middles?

[name_u]Harbor[/name_u] isn’t usable with [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], but that’s okay because [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] is such a great name! I much prefer it to [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] anyway.

[name_u]Merritt[/name_u], definitely.

I like [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] the name [name_u]Merritt[/name_u]. I think it is a very classy name. (I grew up knowing someone who went by the name.) Think it is great with brother [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]
