We’re pregnant with our 2nd and still a few weeks away from finding out the gender (if we do) but cannot find any boy names we both love. I would love any suggestions!
Our daughters name is [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] which we fell in love with before we fell pregnant with her and have chosen a name for this bub if they are a girl, [name_f]Tahlia[/name_f]. We like longer names with nicknames possibilities, meaning is important to us and our surname is 3 syllables starting with F ending with O.
Names with both agree on but just feel meh: [name_m]Ruben[/name_m], [name_m]Nathanael[/name_m], [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], [name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
Names that I like but Hubby doesn’t or have issues with
[name_m]Abram[/name_m] - I don’t love and Hubby isn’t keen
[name_u]Jericho[/name_u] - hate the nn [name_u]Jerry[/name_u] (thinking [name_u]Rio[/name_u] could work)
[name_u]August[/name_u] - conceived very close to [name_u]August[/name_u] so that’s a bit awkward
[name_u]Everest[/name_u] - don’t want to start an E pattern (maybe a future son)
[name_u]Henley[/name_u] - no nn or strong meaning
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] - no strong meaning

I see [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] and [name_m]Matteo[/name_m] in your signature as “in love with”, but notice they are not on your list of potential names.
Have you fallen out of love with them? Or does your DH not like them?

What about [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m]? Another occupational name. I don’t know if there’s much meaning beyond that.
Or [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]? I think this one is so soft and sweet, but still very much masculine. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] means “bear” but also has a romantic/literary connection to [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. I personally love it with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f].
There’s also [name_m]Matthias[/name_m]. Close to [name_m]Matteo[/name_m], but does not have the long “o” ending that your surname has. And since we are on [name_m]Matthias[/name_m], what about [name_m]Tobias[/name_m]? [name_u]Toby[/name_u] is an adorable nickname, and I think both [name_u]Toby[/name_u] and [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] work with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] quite well. The long “o” in [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] wouldn’t clash with the ending of your last name, either.
