Due at the end of the month, need help narrowing down my list!

I love each of these names equally, yet have reservations about each as well. [name_m]Just[/name_m] can’t decide, and running out of time. This is likely our last baby too, so that has been adding to the pressure as I feel it’s my last chance to use one of my favorite names. Older siblings names are [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m].

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]: I think this may be my front runner. I just worry that the popularity of [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] take something away from it. I think my favorite part about Eloise is all of the cute nn potential! I like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a middle here because that way she’d have the 1st letter of both grandma’s as her initials.

[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] (need middle name help here!): I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], and it seems maybe more timeless/less trendy than [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] to me. My biggest problem here is lack appealing nick names. This also seems to be the kind of name people either love or hate, and I’d be so sad if my daughter fell into the latter camp. My biggest hope of all is to choose a name she will love!

[name_f]Margo[/name_f]: I worry it looks spelled incorrectly without the T, but sometimes the T spelling looks too much like maggot to me and I also worry about pronunciation problems. I could go for the full [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], but it seems so serious and almost dreary next to [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] which to me have a kind of light, bright, and airy happiness to them.

[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], love nickname potential, looks long (with our last name which is very very similar to Goldberg).

[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] with the nn “[name_f]Callie[/name_f]”, but feel this might be a bit of a stretch. Not really as into [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] or [name_f]Cara[/name_f].

Other’s I’ve considered: [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f]

Is there another perfect name out there I’m missing?

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is so elegant and I like that it honors both grandmothers for you. Have you thought of the NN Lo or [name_f]Lolo[/name_f] maybe?

I love [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and it’s got that light airy feel you’re going for. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is actually one of my favorite combos. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is cutesy yet mature enough so I don’t think it needs a NN.

[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is very sweet.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] as well and I feel like [name_f]Callie[/name_f] could definitely work.

I like these the best for your sibset with [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] close behind.

I think [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is perfect for you. It feels very classy and elegant to me, and you have lots of fun nicknames to choose from - [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], Lo, [name_f]Lolo[/name_f], etc. It honors family members and has three syllables to match your two other children. All of your other options are good, but [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is my favorite. Good luck!

I love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. The [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] books give me such a good association with that name. I would probably use her full name because I think the nicknames are too common, while the full name is one you don’t hear as often. [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is right up there for me too. My daughter’s name is [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. Maggot has never been an issue and she loves her name. There have been infrequent pronunciation issues because of the “t” though, but nothing major. I like [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and think it too has that light, airy feel to it, but personally it ranks 3rd. I like Margo(t) Daphne really well. Since its likely your last baby why not combine a couple favorites? You have a great list.

I think I would look no further than [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. If you are concerned about [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]'s and [name_f]Ella[/name_f]'s, I would just avoid those nicknmames. It strikes me that EJ would be a cute nickname but you could also use Lo or [name_f]Lu[/name_f]. I also like the fact that all three of your children would have the letter L in their names … a subtle connection that is sweet.

The thing that holds me back from fully embrasing [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is that it so readily brings to mind [name_u]Daffy[/name_u] (as in [name_u]Daffy[/name_u] Duck and being ditzy).

[name_f]Margo[/name_f] is lovely and that would be my second choice if you can’t see your way to using [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] are perfect! [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are two of my favs as well.
