[name_m]How[/name_m] are you pronouncing [name_f]Adoria[/name_f]? Is it Ador-ee-ah or Ador-eye-ah? I like the second pronunciation myself.
My favourites from your list are [name_f]Adoria[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalyn[/name_f]. [name_f]Adoria[/name_f] is sweet and feminine without being frilly. Would you consider lengthening [name_f]Liv[/name_f] to [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] or just [name_f]Livia[/name_f]. It seems so much shorter than your other first name choices. Either way, I like [name_f]Liv[/name_f] as a stand-alone name as well.
Also, I’d advise you to use the [name_u]Finley[/name_u] spelling over [name_f]Phynley[/name_f]. Changing the spelling doesn’t make the name more feminine or more unique, and it will lead to spelling confusion in the future. Plus I don’t like the aesthetics of [name_f]Phynley[/name_f] at all. The two "y"s look funny.
What do you think of [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] as a first name? I think it’s beautiful, feminine, and uncommon these days.
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f] sounds beautiful.
[name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalynn[/name_f] is great!
[name_f]Adoria[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is lovely, but how do you pronounce it? Looking at it, I want to say A-dor-ee-a, which is very nice.
[name_f]Carlee[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] - there are so many names that have [name_f]Carlee[/name_f] as a nickname, and it might be fun to give her options. What do you think of [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], or [name_u]Carlin[/name_u]?
I like [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalyn[/name_f] ( [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]). The others have so many letters added or changed its hard to give opinions on them. Sorry.
[name_f]Liv[/name_f] is the stand out name here but even then [name_f]Olive[/name_f] or [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] would be better with the nickname [name_f]Liv[/name_f]. I don’t really like the sound of [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalyn[/name_f], something classic would be better as a middle name.
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] and [name_u]Finley[/name_u] are both boy’s names regardless of how you spell them and [name_f]Phynley[/name_f] is just cruel.
[name_f]Carley[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] would be pretty.
[name_f]Adoria[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is interesting.
I don’t think of [name_u]Riley[/name_u] or [name_u]Finley[/name_u] as boys names at all! I like them much better for girls! And for the suggested alternate spelling to [name_f]Emmalyn[/name_f] of [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - I wouldn’t pronounce them the same way. I would pronounce [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] as em-meh-line. As for the list:
[name_f]Adoria[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Adora[/name_f]
I’m not a fan of made-up spellings of names, so the only one that I really like on this list is [name_f]Liv[/name_f] and [name_f]Adoria[/name_f]. The others look like teenybopper names, in my opinion. Might be fine for a child, but I can’t imagine a doctor named [name_f]Kaydence[/name_f] or [name_f]Phynley[/name_f]. [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] or [name_u]Finley[/name_u], maybe. If you’re using the phonetic spellings because you want something more unique, then I’d go for a less trendy name to begin with.
[name_f]Carly[/name_f]/[name_f]Carlee[/name_f] sounds very nickname-ish to me…maybe for a longer name:
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
Some spunky (but still wearable as an adult) names:
Is [name_f]Finleigh[/name_f] better than [name_f]Phynley[/name_f]? BF likes [name_f]Finleigh[/name_f] better (I love [name_f]Phynley[/name_f], though ).
I really like [name_f]Kaydence[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. The others i’m not so fond of, just personal opinion though. I think of [name_u]Riley[/name_u] as a boy’s name mostly but think it’s ok for a girl just prefer the [name_u]Riley[/name_u] spelling rather than spelling it any other way.
[name_f]Finleigh[/name_f] is better than [name_f]Phynley[/name_f], but I still prefer spelling it [name_u]Finley[/name_u]. Spelling it the kre8ive way [name_f]Phynley[/name_f] will cause too much confusion when she goes to school.
From your list I like [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalynn[/name_f] the best
I like [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalynn[/name_f] the best, but I would love to see [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] (emma-leen). I think it’s gorgeous! I think something along the lines of [name_f]Adora[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Adora[/name_f] (especially [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Adora[/name_f]!) would be beautiful, as well.
If you do go for [name_u]Finley[/name_u]/[name_f]Phynley[/name_f] - I would definitely spell it [name_u]Finley[/name_u] and make it a bit easier on her! Regardless of how it’s spelled, if there’s another [name_u]Finley[/name_u] in her class, she’ll still be [name_f]Phynley[/name_f] [last initial], or [name_f]Phynley[/name_f] with the weird spelling. I honestly can’t even comprehend [name_u]Finley[/name_u] on a girl; it’s so completely boyish I can’t wrap my mind around a little girl with the name, but obviously a lot of Americans disagree with me.
I would love to meet a [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] or a [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Adora[/name_f], though! As they are, [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalynn[/name_f] is by far my favorite, though.
I love your choices of [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalynn[/name_f] & [name_f]Ryleigh[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f]. Other options I have that you might like are:
[name_f]Kimber[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoie[/name_f]-[name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]-nn [name_f]Zoie[/name_f]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]- I love this & partly biased cause [name_f]Mia[/name_f] is my nn for my name, [name_f]Michelle[/name_f]!!!
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Reagan[/name_u]
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_f]Mia[/name_f]- one of my options for my future little girl, nn [name_f]Emma[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]-nn [name_f]Liv[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilyana[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]-[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]
Good luck with your little girl!!! hope I helped!
I particularly like from your choices, [name_f]Adoria[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalyn[/name_f]. Good luck in deciding and congratulations on your pregnancy.
I like [name_f]Adoria[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
[name_f]Carlee[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is nice (though I prefer the spelling [name_f]Carly[/name_f]), but I agree with the other poster about giving her options. Maybe [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Carlee[/name_f]/[name_f]Carly[/name_f]?
Same with [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalyn[/name_f] (I prefer this spelling). Maybe [name_f]Livia[/name_f] if you don’t like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and use [name_f]Liv[/name_f] as a nickname?
I dislike [name_f]Phynley[/name_f], but I like [name_u]Finley[/name_u]. Here are some other names you might like:
[name_f]Philippa[/name_f]
[name_f]Phyllis[/name_f] (which is what your name looks most like.)
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Phaedra[/name_f]
I also like [name_f]Carlee[/name_f], and [name_f]Liv[/name_f]. [name_f]Adoria[/name_f] is interesting and cute. I also suggest;
[name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Daria[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Jacinda[/name_f]
Alora
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
and
[name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_f]One[/name_f] question…BF and I really like the name [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Bella[/name_f]). Is it too closely tied to [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] or is it useable?
