I voted for the lovely, simple, fresh sounding [name]Hannah[/name]. I also love classic and regal [name]Elizabeth[/name] with all it’s great nickname options, and sweet, vintage [name]Mollie[/name]. I would have voted [name]Mollie[/name] if it was the [name]Molly[/name] spelling! [name]Brielle[/name] isn’t bad, it has a pretty sound but slightly trendy feel. I would prefer [name]Gabrielle[/name] nn [name]Brielle[/name] or Brienne, which is a French place name.

I’m not a fan of the remaining names, [name]Makena[/name], [name]Brianna[/name], [name]Katelyn[/name] and [name]Brielle[/name]. They’re all pretty trendy and unappealing to me.
I was tied between [name]Makenna[/name] and [name]Brielle[/name]! I voted [name]Makenna[/name] though :).

I like [name]Elizabeth[/name] best–such a classic, elegant name! That would be my choice, hands down. I also like [name]Hannah[/name], which I think is pretty and classic, and [name]Katelyn[/name] would be my third choice; I think it’s a little trendy, but it’s still a version of a classic name that I don’t think will ever disappear.
I agree with the others that [name]Brielle[/name] and [name]Brianna[/name] are trendy and will probably feel dated eventually, but otherwise I think they are okay name choices. I like [name]Brianna[/name] slightly better than [name]Brielle[/name], but I also like the previous poster’s suggestion that [name]Brielle[/name] could be short for something, like [name]Gabrielle[/name]. I also think [name]Molly[/name] is pretty enough and okay, but I wish it was a nickname for something more substantial. [name]Mollie[/name] (with the -ie spelling) is just too cutesy to me… I think it would be adorable on a little girl, but I have trouble picturing a professional woman whose “real” name is [name]Mollie[/name], so that rules it out for me.
My least favorite is [name]Makena[/name], which is overly trendy and not the most common spelling either, so I think your daughter would be spelling it for the rest of her life. ([name]Even[/name] the person in this thread who voted for it spelled it differently than you did… I think that will happen all the time.) There may also be people who are unsure how to pronounce it.
Almost exactly what considering said, except I’d put [name]Mollie[/name] over [name]Brianna[/name] and [name]Brielle[/name]. But total agreement on all other points, including feeling that if the spelling is [name]Mollie[/name], it’s even more important it be a nickname of [name]Mary[/name]. [name]Molly[/name] I think stands on its own, [name]Mollie[/name] less so somehow. Mainly because she will probably always be spelling it, same as [name]Makena[/name]. Good luck!

[name]Brielle[/name] = Chose this in poll, it’s pretty and a bit more unique than your other names. If it seems a bit “out there” compared to your other names, you could always pair it with one of the others to “tame” it a bit. IE: [name]Brielle[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
I would have voted for [name]Molly[/name], but I hate the [name]Mollie[/name] spelling. So I voted for [name]Hannah[/name]. [name]Elizabeth[/name] is nice, just a little boring. [name]Makena[/name] is an odd spelling to me. Plus she will just get lost in a see of Makennas, McKenzies and McKinleys, not to mention the million spellings of all those similar names. The others are ok, just NMS really.

I picked [name]Hannah[/name], one of my favorites for a long time. I would have picked [name]Makena[/name] but I honestly can’t stand the spelling. If it had been spelled [name]McKenna[/name] then that would have been my pick. It’s a really beautiful name!
[name]Just[/name] wanted to chime in as my name is [name]Katelyn[/name]. I do like my name, like the way it sounds, and see why my parents chose it, but it is incredibly popular and trendy right now. Because of that, there are SO many different spellings. [name]Every[/name] time I have to put my name down at a restaurant or order a coffee everyone takes guesses at how to spell my name which gets obnoxious after so many years. I would prefer that they just write down their best guess and spell it incorrectly! So anyway, I vote no on [name]Katelyn[/name]. There are just too many spellings.
