They’re all pretty names! Congratulations! [name_f]My[/name_f] personal favorites and the names I think sound better with [name_m]Liam[/name_m] would be [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. I think they sound nice with big brother’s name! [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] is cute as well. [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is nice, but I would say there are so many variations of [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]/[name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] everywhere that she’ll have a name that’s pretty common with a lot of other Kates and Katies out there. If you don’t mind that then [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is cute too! [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is a pretty name, but just think about if you want both kids to have the same first initial. I hear people say they don’t because they feel like they’ll have to use an L name if there was a third child. [name_m]Just[/name_m] something to think about! Personally I’m not a fan of [name_f]Luna[/name_f], it reminds me of [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]. I think [name_f]Miya[/name_f] and [name_f]Mona[/name_f] are both pretty if you think they flow with the ‘M’ middle name.
Good luck!
I don’t like [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] paired with [name_m]Liam[/name_m] too much
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] are too matchy matchy
Not really loving [name_f]Miya[/name_f] or [name_f]Riya[/name_f].
[name_f]Mona[/name_f] could work.
[name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] reminds me of [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f].
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] is lovely, but again [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m], too matchy matchy
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] seem like the perfect match. They look and sound great together.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] is a runner up.
I’d nix [name_f]Kate[/name_f] because of the [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] connection as well. [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] sound too matchy to my ears with [name_m]Liam[/name_m]. I like [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]. I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Riya[/name_f] or [name_f]Miya[/name_f]. Have you considered [name_u]Rory[/name_u]?
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] are very nice together. They are both shorter names and are not matching in sound but have a nice ring to them. They also have [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] quality to me but i cant put my finger on why i think that.
With [name_m]Liam[/name_m], I think the best options would be…
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_f]Mona[/name_f] (not sure about [name_f]Mona[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] but if [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] is of family significance then it’s ok)
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. [name_m]Both[/name_m] work well with [name_m]Liam[/name_m]. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] would be my next choice, but I’m not as big a fan of that name. I do like [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], however.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]! Spunky, sweet, and goes well with [name_m]Liam[/name_m], without being matchey. Also, [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] has a nice flow to it.
I think [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] (though gorgeous classics!) aren’t a great fit with [name_m]Liam[/name_m], because [name_m]LIam[/name_m], [name_f]EmiLY[/name_f] and [name_f]LiLY[/name_f] all have strong “lee” sounds in them.
I think [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] sound a little too matchy with [name_m]Liam[/name_m]. I don’t personally like [name_f]Riya[/name_f] or [name_f]Miya[/name_f] because they’d be one of those names that was constantly spelled and mispronounced wrong her whole life. these names also seem a little oddball to me compared to the rest of your names. They’re nice, but they are a little stranger than the rest of the list. I think [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is the cutest with [name_m]Liam[/name_m], but [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] are also nice. [name_f]Kate[/name_f] with brother [name_m]Liam[/name_m] does make me think of [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] Middleton. [name_f]Mona[/name_f] is nice but for some reason I can just never picture it on a little girl.
As for any potential bad nicknames–[name_f]Luna[/name_f] could be called Loony, [name_f]Mona[/name_f] could get a lot of sexual jokes when she gets to be a teenager (based off of the word “moan”). I can’t think of any others off the top of my head.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] :
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f]
[name_f]Miya[/name_f] - [name_f]Mia[/name_f], [name_f]Mya[/name_f] or [name_f]Maya[/name_f] are better options, though, [name_f]IMO[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] - [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite with [name_m]Liam[/name_m]!!
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], but it sounds nice
Dislike w/ [name_m]Liam[/name_m] :
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] - as mentionned by PP, because of [name_m]William[/name_m] + [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
I actually really like [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] together, I don’t find them too matchy at all. I find that they flow nicely together. I wouldn’t use [name_f]Lily[/name_f] just because this name is really taking off right now (even among dogs! I know at least 23 canines named [name_f]Lily[/name_f]) and she may end up being one of several in her class. But [name_f]Luna[/name_f] gives me the same beautiful imagery (white, pure, pretty, peaceful, etc.) as [name_f]Lily[/name_f] but without being as common.
[name_f]My[/name_f] vote is for [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] (although I like the [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] spelling better). Second place goes to [name_f]Ella[/name_f].
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]- Sounds too much like [name_m]Liam[/name_m]
[name_f]Riya[/name_f]- Won’t be spelled right
[name_f]Miya[/name_f]- Won’t be spelled right
[name_f]Mona[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]- [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] association
[name_f]Emily[/name_f]- I don’t like the shared [name_u]Lee[/name_u] sound
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
That leaves us with:
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f]
[name_f]Mona[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
I don’t like when siblings names have the same first initial, so I personally would take out [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. I also just don’t think [name_f]Mona[/name_f] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] go well together; they are very stylistically different.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m].
To keep things simple, I have edited the original post after eliminating [name_f]Riya[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] - the Li-/Li- matchyness was a concern of mine, so all the comments supporting it really sealed the deal
Keep 'em coming tho. Still a long way to go, and time is running out…
Okay so my favourite names on the list are [name_f]Miya[/name_f] and [name_f]Mona[/name_f] which kind of sucks because I wouldn’t use them with a mn starting the same.
I think these sound better;
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]
I think my favourite of these four is [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] although I would spell it [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_f]Zara[/name_f] or [name_f]Zora[/name_f]? I personally prefer those to [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]. Good luck!
I’m sorry you removed [name_f]Luna[/name_f] from the list, I actually really liked that. But from what’s left I’d go with either [name_f]Emma[/name_f] or [name_f]Emily[/name_f].
I can’t get behind [name_f]Mona[/name_f] because in Spanish it means female monkey… so that’s what I think about lol.
