[name]Sylvie[/name] [name]Therese[/name] for me, definitely! [name]Sylvie[/name] feels so much more fresh and sweet than [name]Nora[/name] does to me, sorry. I know you’ve been set on [name]Nora[/name] [name]Therese[/name] for so long, though–I can’t even remember you considering anything else! You’re obviously in love with that so I would go with it unless you have a reason not to use it anymore. [name]Nora[/name] and [name]Sylvie[/name] would be cute for sisters in the future, if you plan on having more than one child.
Good luck!

I just don’t get the whole [name]Sylvie[/name] thing. I think [name]Nora[/name] is much prettier.
I voted for [name]Sylvie[/name], but I’ve always had a thing with [name]Nora[/name].
I voted for [name]Nora[/name] but I love them both!!!
I love [name]Sylvie[/name] and dont like [name]NORA[/name], for me she is the dorky girl.
I’m not sure what the allure of [name]Sylvie[/name] is but I only know women by this name in their 40s and 50s with tacky short tight perks and blue eyeliner. Match that up with [name]Therese[/name] and it makes me think of the typical old French québécois ladies who smoke cigarettes and play bingo lol. I do like teaming an old with a new though and I find [name]Nora[/name] to be very fresh and simple. It wins. Hopefully I didn’t offend, I have a hard time explaining why I dislike some combos or names sometimes.
tina you make me laugh, your description of these ladies was very graphic and amusing and probably very correct. Did these ladies with the tacky blue eyeliner live in the 1920’s or 30’s?
I am having cold feet with [name]Nora[/name] for some reason…i’ve had it set in my mind for months and now with dd right around the corner I want to see what else I can come up with. To me [name]Sylvie[/name] is cute but I haven’t heard it before and don’t want it to be too old lady-ish or odd sounding. I really like [name]Avery[/name] but it’s too popular for me. My son’s name is [name]Kyler[/name] (nn [name]Ky[/name]) but I don’t really care if the names “go” together. That’s never been a thing for me as I feel that they grow up to become separate adults- it’s not the most important thing that they sound like a “set.” Hmmm…be on the lookout for more polls from me please!!! thanks ladies!
I like [name]Sylvie[/name] too, cute and sweet but definitely also suited to someone grown up too. Not a massive fan of [name]Nora[/name], possibly because it starts no/nor which to me indicates a negative…nor sounds just like how my 2 yr old dd is saying no at the mo!
