[name]Malcolm[/name] is a wonderful name and a much better choice than [name]Micah[/name], I think, as it completely sidesteps the [name]Mike[/name]/[name]Michael[/name] association. With [name]Michael[/name] the number one boys’ name for 40 years, I think you’d do better to choose a name that moves further beyond it, especially as you are completely on the fence between the two. I far prefer [name]Malcolm[/name]. I dont think it is too mature. And I dont neccessarly think that is a bad thing as you spend more of your life as an adult than you do as a baby.
I like both, but I’d choose [name]Malcolm[/name] for the same reason [name]Pam[/name] mentioned (and I’ve met a couple of girls named [name]Micah[/name]/[name]Myca[/name] - another boy’s name going to the other side.) And [name]Mac[/name] is a nickname that will fit both a little boy and an adult.
