Due in 3 Weeks - Top 3 Boy Names

I am due in three weeks and we have narrowed down our top 3 boys and girls names (we didn’t find out the gender). I would love to hear opinions on these. We are using a family name for the middle name ([name]Edward[/name], [name]James[/name], or [name]Thomas[/name]) and are having a hard time singling out a front-runner for a first name. We’d like a classic name that doesn’t seem too boring. :slight_smile: Thanks in advance!

I think that they are all lovely but my favourite is [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Edward[/name] :slight_smile:

[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Edward[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Samuel[/name], and the nn [name]Sam[/name]/[name]Sammy[/name] is too cute. I used to have a similar combo ([name]Samuel[/name] [name]Edison[/name] [name]Rupert[/name]) on my list, so this reminds me of this. [name]Love[/name] it.

[name]Thomas[/name] [name]James[/name] - love [name]Thomas[/name], and I would probably consider it more seriously if I thought I could have a just [name]Thomas[/name]–not a [name]Tom[/name] or [name]Tommy[/name]. Much as I like [name]Thomas[/name], [name]Thomas[/name] [name]James[/name] feels quite boringly classic to me. :*( I think [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Edward[/name], [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Everett[/name], or [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] would be more interesting. I actually really like [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Everett[/name]!

[name]Everett[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] - by far my favorite! I’ve been a bit obsessed about [name]Everett[/name] myself lately, and I love the classic, handsome [name]Thomas[/name] with it. Perfect, imo. :slight_smile:

Thanks all! [name]Thomas[/name] [name]James[/name] is at the bottom of the list for me as well. DH loves it because it’s his father’s middle name and my father’s middle name. But I hate to use up all of the good family names in one shot - what if we have another boy in the future? (I’m also not fond of the nn TJ.) Lol there won’t be any names left!

I hadn’t considered [name]Everett[/name] [name]James[/name] - I will have to pass that one by DH tonight.

The plan is to wait till the baby is born, meet him or her, and see what name fits best. Now to get some feedback on the girls names!
