[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Everyone - you all were so helpful with confirming our baby boy name choice of [name_m]Gannon[/name_m] awhile ago. Now, we are down to the wire and still majorly struggling with a suitable middle name. Our last name is only one syllable, beginning and ending with S.
Here are our final choices:
[name_m]Gannon[/name_m] [name_u]Carter[/name_u] (really like this one, but concerned about the back to back surnames? Is it too pretentious sounding?)
[name_m]Gannon[/name_m] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] (only hesitation here is that it’s one syllable and so is our last name so not sure if the flow is ok)
[name_m]Gannon[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] (DH’s middle name, which is how it came up, but he doesn’t really have a strong preference as to whether or not we use it)…but does a more traditional middle name like [name_u]Michael[/name_u] sound better with a slightly more unique name like [name_m]Gannon[/name_m]?
I feel like I am thinking [name_m]WAY[/name_m] to far into this, but at the same time, it’s such a big decision! Any opinions would be great Thank you!!
I like [name_m]Gannon[/name_m] [name_u]Carter[/name_u] and [name_m]Gannon[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] - with a preference toward [name_m]Gannon[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]
I think [name_m]Gannon[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is the best option. The only choices contain two surnames. With [name_m]Gannon[/name_m] [name_m]Cole[/name_m], I twist them and say [name_m]Cannon[/name_m] Goal. [name_u]Carter[/name_u] is too similar to “cart her”.
Thank you! We really were set on [name_u]Carter[/name_u], but I think we are starting to lean towards [name_u]Michael[/name_u]…decisions, decisions!!! Any more opinions would be greatly appreciated
I love [name_m]Gannon[/name_m] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]! Something about it is so… Cool and sleek. Like an old timey detective. I think your one syllable last name will be fine.
