I’m due in less than 2 weeks with our first child and my husband and I have narrowed down our list to seven names.
We like the middle name [name]Isabel[/name] after my grandmother, but I’m not sure that it works with all of the names. Any advice on the first names or first name + middle name combos listed below would be much appreciated!
[name]Alicia[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] (sounds odd to me)
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] (this sounds weird to me since its the reverse of [name]Isabella[/name])
[name]Leah[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]
[name]Maya[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]
[name]Irene[/name] (need a different middle name here)
I like the [name]Maya[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] combination the best but [name]Maya[/name] is very popular if you care about that kind of thing. There are other versions of [name]Isabel[/name] ([name]Izzy[/name], [name]Bella[/name]…that could sub in for [name]Isabel[/name] and still honor).
Best of luck and congratulations.
I like [name]Maya[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] or [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] (suprise!) [name]Alicia[/name] isn’t one of my fav names. Here are a couple that sound good with [name]Isabel[/name].
I like [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] or [name]Alicia[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]. [name]How[/name] about [name]Alice[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]?
I find that having the first name end in a vowel and the mn start with a vowel makes the names run together a bit. I am having that same trouble with my name list…
[name]Isabel[/name] is the most popular name in the latest naming stats in U.S. (see SSA), so I would be looking for a first name that is not in the top 200 or even top 500.
[name]Alicia[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] I like this combo very much and would choose it over any of the others on your list.
