This is probably my second or third time posting over the course of this pregnancy – I’m due in two weeks and am still unsure on the name of our little boy! I’m so stressed!
My daughter’s name is [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Mikaela[/name_f]. Of my current top two boy names, which fits better in your opinion?
I actually just met my first little [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] within the past week! I’ve struggled with liking it, but after seeing it on a cute little boy, it’s definitely grown on me, and I like it more than [name_m]Milo[/name_m] (although I think [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] OR [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_m]Milo[/name_m] are great, I’m really loving [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] for you!). I absolutely love [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] McKay for a combo, too, and it goes so well with [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Mikaela[/name_f]! All your options are great, but [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] McKay is definitely getting my vote.
Neither seems too weird or common, [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] and [name_m]Milo[/name_m] are both handsome! I like [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] slightly more, and would probably go with [name_m]Scott[/name_m] as the MN because McKay and [name_f]Mikaela[/name_f] in a sibset would be too close for me personally.
I think I prefer [name_m]Milo[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Scott[/name_m] for the middle name since McKay and [name_f]Mikaela[/name_f] are similar. [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] always reminds me of that really dorky, red-haired kid from that Cartoon Network show ([name_u]Dexter[/name_u]'s Laboratory it was called, I think?).
I really like the name [name_u]Dexter[/name_u], but out of your wonderful options I think I prefer the sound of [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_m]Scott[/name_m].
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] are matchy in ending so I vote for [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_m]Scott[/name_m]. [name_m]Milo[/name_m] has the same spunky vibe as [name_u]Piper[/name_u] so the two names are a good match.
Out of your combos I like both [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] McKay and [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_m]Scott[/name_m]. Though I personally prefer the name [name_m]Milo[/name_m] to [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] I like [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] and [name_u]Piper[/name_u] better as a sibset. Both are excellent choices though!
I prefer [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_m]Scott[/name_m] as well (I agree that [name_f]Mikaela[/name_f] and McKay feel too similar for middles - just my opinion). Other first name options for boys that are uncommon, recognizable, and at least two syllables (and seem to fit your style):
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] (the ER ending you like)
[name_m]Felix[/name_m] (has that X from [name_u]Dexter[/name_u])
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u] (cool ends in O name like [name_m]Milo[/name_m])
You can’t go wrong with either! I slightly prefer [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] and either mn is fine but maybe they are honouring names and you have a preference?
I think [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_m]Milo[/name_m] go great together.
I don’t think [name_m]Milo[/name_m] is common at all! And it’s not as trendy as [name_u]Dexter[/name_u].
[name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_m]Scott[/name_m] gets my vote.
