Definitely [name_f]Susanna[/name_f]! Like someone else said, I think if you use your top pick with husbands preference of spelling then that’s a good compromise. I also think [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] [name_u]Ramsey[/name_u] sounds fabulous!
Thanks for all the wonderful feedback! We’re still leaning towards Susanna(h) but [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is a strong second contender. I think we’ll just wait to meet her and see what she looks like .
[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I love the name [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] too. [name_f]My[/name_f] two cents on the spelling problem is that the Old Testament was written in Hebrew, so neither [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] or [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] is the original spelling. To me it’s like the difference between Hanukkah/Chanuka- both are approximations of the Hebrew spelling, so you can choose the one you like best.
I also love [name_f]Willa[/name_f], it’s my daughter’s name
And I think it’s a great idea to take both names to the hospital and see which one suits her best when you meet her!
