I thik I like [name]Dulcie[/name] (or [name]Dulcy[/name]) which sounds kind of like lucy and has a sweet feel. But is it too sweet? Opinions?
[name]Dulcie[/name] is a guilty pleasure of mine. It’s sweet, vintage and slightly British in vibe but it doesn’t sound like [name]Lucy[/name]. It’s “DULL-see” and I think the dull part taints the name a bit. The Spanish [name]Dulce[/name] (dool-say) is more attractive and rids the name of the word dull.
I think its really cute! Idk if I would want it as a full name though. Would you consider [name]Dulcinea[/name]? That name has a lovely literary association.
I think it’s lovely and works fine on its own.
[name]Dulce[/name] (DOOLS) or Dulcibel are pretty too.
I like [name]Dulcie[/name] as a nn for [name]Dulcinea[/name] (usable [name]IMO[/name]) or Dulcinée (gp name)
I like Dulce as well but I’ve never heard the prn Sugarplumfairy mentioned so I would go with the Spanish one “dool seh” if you like it.
Makes me think of Dolce (dole-chay) so makes me think sweet.
I think I like it more as a nn tho.
Yeah, Spanish [name]Dulce[/name] (Dool [name]Say[/name]) is pretty in Spanish but kind of weird in English. [name]Dulcie[/name] in English is too much “dull” for me (I’ve always heard Dull See)
