I like [name]Holly[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name] & [name]Holly[/name] [name]Schuyler[/name].
what about [name]Holly[/name] [name]Saskia[/name]?
I like Liesbett.
Had to vote for [name]Beatrix[/name], I’m crushing on it super hard right now. I also like [name]Riane[/name].
It is L heavy, but I think [name]Holly[/name] Lieve sounds pretty.
I know a [name]Holly[/name] [name]Rae[/name].
Suggestions for a Dutch mn:
[name]Fay[/name]
[name]Freja[/name]
Eija
[name]Berit[/name]
[name]Marit[/name]
[name]Sigrid[/name]
[name]Signe[/name]/[name]Signy[/name]
[name]Tilde[/name]
[name]Tove[/name]
I have a dutch friend named [name]Olympia[/name] [name]Fiona[/name], but I don’t think either of those names are actually Dutch.
I really like [name]Holly[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name], but a previous posters suggestion of [name]Holly[/name] [name]Saskia[/name] is equally as beautiful. Good luck to your friend!
It would help to know if this girl will be living in [name]Holland[/name] at some point in her life.
[name]Beatrix[/name] sounds lovely with [name]Holly[/name] in English, but as it is the current [name]Queen[/name] is called [name]Beatrix[/name] (75 years of age and ending her reign this year), it’s not exactly a baby name here, unless you wish to hint to the royal family.
All the following names are in current top 200 and I think can be pronounced by English speakers easily. Unfortunately no 3 syl. ones, but with a long or very short last name I think it could work.
[name]Holly[/name] Fenna
[name]Holly[/name] [name]Merel[/name] (Dutch for Blackbird)
[name]Holly[/name] [name]Famke[/name]
[name]Holly[/name] Esmee (most common Dutch spelling of [name]Esme[/name], prn. [name]ESMAY[/name])
I agree [name]Saskia[/name] is a great name together with [name]Holly[/name], but it does have a 70/80’s vibe here like [name]Jennifer[/name] would in the States.
[name]Leonie[/name] and [name]Sabine[/name] have the same vibe and sound nice paired up with [name]Holly[/name] too. You could alter [name]Sabine[/name] to [name]Sabina[/name] to assure the correct three syl. prn.
Tessel is a typical Dutch name that could be used as an alternative for [name]Tessa[/name]. The name has a maritime history and refers to the Island Texel in the north of the country, close to the most important navy base.
[name]Hope[/name] this helps.
I like the Dutch name Marlies although I don’t know if it’s the best fit with [name]Holly[/name].
Voted for [name]Holly[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name], but don’t really think that any of the names go well together.
I’ve actually lived in [name]Holland[/name] for span of time when I was younger, and I think that Dutch names are really adorable. Some of these might be somewhat dated, but adorable nonetheless:
[name]Holly[/name] Carolien
[name]Holly[/name] Fenna
[name]Holly[/name] [name]Johanna[/name]
[name]Holly[/name] Maartje
[name]Holly[/name] [name]Margriet[/name]
[name]Holly[/name] [name]Marijke[/name] (:D)
[name]Holly[/name] [name]Mies[/name]
[name]Holly[/name] [name]Noa[/name]
[name]Holly[/name] Paulien
Thank you ladies! I showed this to my friend and she liked the suggestions of [name]Merel[/name],Carolien and [name]Noa[/name].
