I’m stuck on [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_m]Dilan[/name_m], but my husband really wants [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] for our boy. I feel like [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] could grow on my but I don’t [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] it. Any opinions?
I think both names are fine, with [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] being trendier and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] being more established. I personally prefer [name_u]Dylan[/name_u], as I can see it aging better than [name_m]Greyson[/name_m].
Eh, [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] is so and so to me. I like it, I see the appeal, but I can’t get past how preppy it comes across. I adore [name_u]Dylan[/name_u].
I prefer [name_m]Greyson[/name_m]
I also prefer [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]. Good luck!
I do like [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] but it does seem trendy to me. For that reason I would go with [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]. Both are very handsome
I much prefer [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]. You could always use [name_u]Grey[/name_u] as a middle name! I think [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] sounds really cute, and sort of blends both names together
I much prefer [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]. [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] has become so trendy and I find it boring honestly. Sorry. [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] however is one of my very favorites. I think it’s sweet, fun, simple, handsome… it checks every box for me!
I prefer [name_u]Dylan[/name_u], as it seems more established and less trendy than [name_m]Greyson[/name_m]. I’m also not a fan of patronymics, but that’s probably just me.
I prefer Greyer to [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] and love the nn [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. [name_m]Grayson[/name_m] is a very popular name for a girl where I live (Southeast US)
I like [name_m]Greyson[/name_m], (nickname [name_u]Grey[/name_u]) and think it sounds substantial and a little preppy, in a good way. A good, strong masculine name that will translate well into adulthood, but still sounding current now while he’s a little boy.
I like both but prefer [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]. It’s a great name with lovely meaning and nice pop culture associations - [name_m]Bob[/name_m] [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Greyson[/name_m]. I think its handsome, and it doesn’t come across as too trendy to me (I have positive associations with the name, though)
I have a cousin named [name_u]Dylan[/name_u], and I grew up with a lot of boys named [name_u]Dylan[/name_u], so I’m not a huge fan of the name. Its definitely not dated, but it still reminds me of a name people in their 20s would have (rather than a baby born now)
I do, however, see its appeal and if you truly love it, you should use it. I also like the suggestion of [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u].
