My new story is set in a dystopian country like Panem in The Hunger Games, but I’m having trouble naming it. Anyone have any ideas??
I don’t have any ideas, but when I’m trying to come up with names for places, I write down adjectives to describe it. Then I look up their definitions, even though I know what they mean. It just help to see the definition written out in a factual way. And then I might google the word and see what comes up. This method helps me brainstorm. And usually, I end up with a few ideas. I went through that same problem a while ago… all I did was go through names that sounded good with the world I was creating until I found one that I think, fits pretty well. Good luck on that!
