I absolutely adore the name [name]Emmeline[/name]…mainly for the nn [name]Emme[/name]! That said, E would have to be one of my favourite letters for girls names.
I voted for [name]Eleanor[/name]. I’m actually really liking this name also spelled [name]Elinor[/name].
My vote is for [name]Elizabeth[/name]!
I’ve been looking forward to this
[name]Elizabeth[/name] - I love [name]Elizabeth[/name] and all of the [name]Elizabeth[/name] nicknames, [name]Lizzy[/name] and [name]Eliza[/name] being my favourites. I think it sounds so beautiful and regal but withour being overly flouncy, and I can’t see anyone hating the name [name]Elizabeth[/name] (unless they knew a really nastyy one!)
[name]Esther[/name] - I love [name]Esther[/name]! Although my best friend once used it for a deranged aunt in one of her stories, I still think [name]Esther[/name] sounds really cute and likeable. To me, [name]Esther[/name] is a really down to earth and friendly sort of name, defininitely a favourite!
[name]Emmeline[/name] - I don’t really like [name]Emma[/name] at all, but I adore [name]Emmeline[/name]! I think that it’s a really girly name, but I like that. I think nn [name]Emme[/name] is also really sweet. Not my favourite name on this list (because i love the others so much), I think it’s one of those names I’d really like on someone else’s child.
[name]Eleanor[/name] - This is basically my name, [name]Elena[/name], but although mine is greek and I love greek names, I love the spelling [name]Eleanor[/name] better because you can’t really pronounce or spell it wrong. But I really don’t like the nickname [name]Ellie[/name], Where I live, I know at least eight!
[name]Evangeline[/name] - Wow, what a name! I think [name]Evangeline[/name] is beyond stunning Again, another ultra-girly name, but oh so beautiful. Of course, it has some gorgeous nicknames but it is a name that I prfer in its full elegant form.
[name]Eloise[/name] - [name]Love[/name]! So pretty, I love the nickname [name]Lulu[/name] as well. I think [name]Eloise[/name] is really pretty, bright and peppy. It’s so frustrating that I like so many [name]EL[/name] names because my name is [name]Elena[/name] and I’d feel very strange having children with names that sound like mine.
This is going to be such a hard decision! I have to say, even thuogh I would have voted for [name]Eliza[/name] if she was in your poll, it probably wouldn’t be a fun deciding and commenting.
I think this has to be the hardest decision yet for me!
It was very close, but I think I am going with [name]Elizabeth[/name], close runners up being [name]Esther[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name]
p.s Is [name]Charlie[/name] short for [name]Charlotte[/name], because [name]Charlotte[/name] is one of my very favourite names!
Ditto. I love [name]Elinor[/name]!
We can only vote for one? AHHH!!
[name]Elizabeth[/name]: I love [name]Elizabeth[/name] and nearly every single one of its nicknames. I never tire of [name]Elizabeth[/name], no matter how often I hear it, and an added bonus is that [name]Eliza[/name] is one of my favorite names. (Go [name]Elizabeth[/name]!!! Woo-hoo!!! You’re leaving the competition in the dust, so don’t look back! )
[name]Esther[/name]: I know a sweet [name]Esther[/name], but I love the other names more. (I’m sorry, [name]Esther[/name]!) I love [name]Judy[/name] [name]Garland[/name] as [name]Esther[/name] in Meet Me in [name]St[/name]. [name]Louis[/name], so maybe the name will grow on me.
[name]Emmeline[/name]: I love [name]Emmeline[/name] so much! I like [name]Elizabeth[/name] more than I do [name]Emmeline[/name], though, because [name]Emmeline[/name] comes with pronunciation issues (line VS leen), and I can see [name]Emmeline[/name] falling victim to yooneek spellings.
[name]Eleanor[/name]: Oh my gosh, I love [name]Eleanor[/name], too! I love its sound and its nicknames. Because it doesn’t have pronunciation issues, I’ll put in second place (a very close second) behind [name]Elizabeth[/name].
[name]Evangeline[/name]: I think that [name]Evangeline[/name] is gorgeous, too! I love [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], and [name]Emmeline[/name] more, though, so I’ll put [name]Evangeline[/name] in fourth.
[name]Eloise[/name]: Oooh…I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Eloise[/name]! I actually love [name]Eloise[/name] more than I do [name]Eleanor[/name], but I love [name]Eliza[/name] a teeny bit more than I do [name]Eloise[/name], so I’ll go with:
I feel guilty voting for [name]Elizabeth[/name] and not [name]Eloise[/name], and if I’m still feeling guilty later, I may come back and switch my vote to give poor [name]Eloise[/name] a chance. I’ll of course switch my vote back to [name]Elizabeth[/name], but, well, it’s the thought that counts. Stay strong, [name]Eloise[/name]!
E was such a hard poll, because they’re all so beautiful! I think the the rest of the polls will be a lot easier.
([name]Will[/name] be [name]Felicity[/name] be in the F poll?)
Take care, [name]Charlie[/name]!
