Early-to-Mid-20's Mums of Multiple LO's

Are there any 20-25 year old mums of two or three little ones? …[name_m]How[/name_m] did you find having more than one child at a relatively young age?

I’ve had a bit of baby fever for the last few weeks and am genuinely considering having another baby in the near future, and just want to know how other people around my age have coped with it.
…Is it a great deal different, positives/negatives, any advice? That sort of thing.

Thanks

Well, I’m 27 but have two little ones, ages 3 and 2, and another baby due in [name_u]March[/name_u].

It’s not easy, but I also feel like I have a lot more energy and patience to deal with them than for instance my sister in law who is 41 and also has 2 kids about my kids’ ages. But that’s relative I think.

I think the main issues are finance and mental/emotional equilibrium. [name_f]Do[/name_f] not be fooled, two kids are double the work and double the money, although I find it gets better when they grow out of diapers and formula.

I think it’s very important to have family or family-like friends to fall back on for support, help and motivation, and for the times where you’ll need some babysitting. In my case, until 6 months ago I had my mother and cousin near me.

Now my husband and I are living abroad and my mother will only be able to come be with me in [name_f]February[/name_f], towards the very end of my pregnancy. I have a feeling it will be a huge challenge.

I may sound a bit dismayed, but actually I really love being a mother. Our days are full of stress, worrying and caring, but also of many joys and triumphs. There’s nothing I love more than playing, seeing my kids smile and laugh, hearing them learn to talk, even there little snores. So I do think it’s very wonderful to be a mother.

[name_u]Baby[/name_u] fever is one thing, what you really need is to know if the moment is the right one. And you probably know.
