What are your favourite eccentric names for boys? Perhaps rarely (or never) heard word names, or just some very unusual choices? Anything which has been lost to the mists of time?

I’m very picky with boys names. There are literally only 12 I really like. Out of those 12, one of my absolute favorites is almost unheard-of. [name]Prosper[/name]. It’s the name of a character in a book I really like. I read that book at a young age, so it’s always seemed like a perfectly acceptable name to me, but now I know that it’s very unusual. I think it’s one of the few virute names for boys that sounds like an actual name. I would probably only ever use it as a middle name, though. I’m not quite that adventurous!
One of the name combos on my list-
[name]Kelvin[/name] [name]Hart[/name]

I’ve just rediscovered [name]Winston[/name] and become a huge fan! I knew a little boy called [name]Win[/name] growing up… can’t remember if his first name was really [name]Winston[/name] though, or something else. Either way [name]Winston[/name] comes with a cute nickname or makes a handsome middle name!
I don’t know if it is considered eccentric, but I really like [name]Ulysses[/name]. You would not believe the negative reaction that name gets from people, but I love it!
Does [name]Everett[/name] count as eccentric? because it definitely is a favourite of mine ?
I also like [name]Crispin[/name], [name]Oscar[/name] and [name]Edgar[/name].
I can’t imagine calling a baby [name]Edgar[/name] though and I don’t like [name]Eddie[/name] as a nn
I <3 [name]Edgar[/name]. It was my grandpas mn and I plan to use it as a mn for one of my sons. I dont like [name]Eddie[/name] either, that is why it makes a good mn imo.
[name]Everett[/name] is lovely as well.
My sister used to have a friend named Winstead. He also had an excessively long last name but never used a nn for Winstead.

I can just picture a granpa [name]Edgar[/name] :3
It works really well for adults as a first name, but for a child it’s definitely a better middle name.
