Ed, Ted, and Fred?

Over the last couple of months I have been going over my boys list, and I am having a huge issue with too many names with close sounding nicknames.

My top three names now are [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], and [name_m]Frederich/name_m

Can you guys help me find nicknames for these gentlemen so that they don’t have to be [name_m]Ed[/name_m], [name_m]Ted[/name_m], and [name_m]Fred[/name_m].

I was going to suggest [name_m]Ned[/name_m], [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_m]Fritz[/name_m] (southern.maple beat me to two of them! :)).

[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] can be called [name_u]Ricky[/name_u]. Depending on the middle name for the other two names, perhaps an initial nn like “[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]” nn “T.J.”.

Handsome names! I’d go with [name_m]Ed[/name_m], [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_u]Freddie[/name_u].

Another option is to use [name_m]Edward[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], and then you can use the nn [name_m]Ward[/name_m]. However, I’m assuming you already considered [name_m]Edward[/name_m] and chose [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] for a reason.

I like [name_m]Ned[/name_m], [name_u]Theo[/name_u], and [name_m]Eric[/name_m]. I love the name [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] : )

I love the suggestion of [name_u]Ricky[/name_u] for [name_m]Frederich[/name_m] (k)… maybe even [name_m]Rocky[/name_m]?

[name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_m]Tripp[/name_m] for [name_m]Theodore[/name_m].
