Eden is it unisex?

I’ve been curious about this name lately.
Does it seem like a more unisex name?
To me it feels more feminine but interested in hearing reactions.

Absolutely unisex! I’ve met both male and female Edens, and I like it a lot on both. [name_f]My[/name_f] slight preference is for [name_u]Eden[/name_u] on a boy, because I love that androgynous style for boys, but [name_u]Eden[/name_u] “[name_f]Edie[/name_f]” for a girl would be adorable as well.

Definitely unisex. I prefer it for a boy, I think because I know a guy named [name_u]Eden[/name_u] and until not long ago hadn’t heard it on a girl, but I do now also know of a girl with the name. [name_u]Eden[/name_u] nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f] is very sweet.

I see it as totally unisex, but prefer on girls personally  Like it for any gender though!

I’d say yes ([name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_m]Hazard[/name_m] is a famous example of a male [name_u]Eden[/name_u]), though where I live it’s more common for girls.

It is definitely unisex. I personally only like it on a boy, but I know the majority of people (outside of NB) probably see it more as a girls name (it still ranks for boys, tho).

Perfectly unisex— I’ve known two, one male and one female!

I think it’s unisex. It leans slightly more towards feminine but I think it works on both

I had never heard it used for a boy before berries brought it up. I appreciate the insight and examples!

Yes it’s Hebrew and actually in [name_u]Israel[/name_u] I think it might be a little more common for boys but definitely still gender neutral

I’ve only ever heard it on girls and I’d be surprised to meet a little boy [name_u]Eden[/name_u]. But it’s a word/place name and therefore inherently gender neutral!

One of the few names I’d say are truly unisex. I know a handful of each. I love [name_u]Eden[/name_u], I love it on a girl but do like it on a boy too!

I think it’s unisex! I’ve seen it on both genders, and actually prefer it on boys.

I love eden

Totally unisex to me, I’d use it on both a boy and a girl! I’ve met a male [name_u]Eden[/name_u] irl, but my mum strongly considered [name_u]Eden[/name_u] for my sister.
