Edie as a nn for Elodie?

[name]ADORE[/name] edie! [name]LOVE[/name] elodie…is it too much of a stretch to use edie as nn for [name]Elodie[/name]?

I love it! [name]Both[/name] of the names are lovely. I don’t find it too much of a stretch.

Thanks It seems that the general consensus is that they work together! All the letters are there i guess I just questioned it because the ‘e’ is sounded differently!

Unlike most, I honestly find it a little strange. The nn [name]Edie[/name] is so closely tied to [name]Edith[/name] that I think people might be confused by this usage irl.
