Help me choose a middle name for Miss Edie. Last name starts with L (so I’m hesitant to use Elisabeth due to initials). Any other suggestions welcome. Thanks.

[name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is definitely my favorite–such a bright, happy combo! I also really like [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] (E. E. L. honestly doesn’t bother me much) and [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]!

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] isn’t my favourite but [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] sounds good and balances each other

I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as middles as well, but [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] absolutely glows!

I want to say [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], but it sounds way too similar to “eat a clementine” to me. [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] would probably be my pick (I don’t think EEL are bad initials)

I love [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] too but I’d probably avoid initials EEL.

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is my favourite as an individual name, so I voted for that. But, I do love [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] and the initial EEL wouldn’t bother me.

I think [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is a little too ‘D’ heavy so, personally, I would avoid something in the middle that starts with D.

[name_f]My[/name_f] 5 year old’s middle name is [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] so I thought it would be nice for them to share that since they have different surnames, but EEL puts me off. Only way around it would be to add another middle name, eg. [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

What about a related but non-E starting name? [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]? [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] ultimately derives from [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].

[name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f], for the shared ending sound?

I still think you’re onto a winner with the gorgeous [name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] though

I like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. Also because if you’re attentive to initials, EQL kind of reminds me of equal/equality which is kind of nice.
