Edith or Evelyn?

Which name sounds better with these middles, [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] or [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]? Also what does everyone think of [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] as middles? Be completely honest, no offense will be taken!

Personally, I prefer [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] is nice, it’s not something I would pick, but it sounds good.

I love both names, and I really love [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]. It’s wordy but that’s why I like it so much; it makes it more magical and whimsical, but with more grounded names to balance it out. I really can’t decide between the firsts. [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] sounds like a writer or an artist, someone creative, and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] sounds like a little girl running around in a forest (I love a name with an image). [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u] have a repeating -in sound, but I kind of like that. Hmm… I think I’ll go for [name_f]Edith[/name_f], but you can’t really go wrong.

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_f]Edith[/name_f] but it doesn’t appear to flow nor sound like it flows well with [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]. I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and it flows well with [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]. I like [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] as a middle name option. I think it sounds evocative, lush, and just sounds and looks gorgeous!

I love [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]! It flows really well with [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]-it’s a bit nature-y for my personal taste- but it’s a wonderful name

+1. Agree with everything. I, too, vote [name_f]Edith[/name_f], but really you can’t go wrong with either.

I prefer [name_f]Edith[/name_f] over [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] but only slightly. I would not use [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] for middle names because it sounds like you are describing something. [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] would be lovely.

I prefer [name_f]Edith[/name_f], I feel like I’m hearing if little [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]'s left, right and centre nowadays. [name_f]Edith[/name_f] is a little less known, I also adore the nickname [name_f]Edie[/name_f] which is a little more interesting than [name_f]Evie[/name_f] to me (again, just because I feel like every other little girl where I live has this nickname). Although, I always think that there is a reason why a name is so popular! [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is beautiful!

[name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] has the nice balance of serious and quirky. I like it!

Thank you everyone for you’re input, much appreciated

I think if you drop [name_f]Edith[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], you’ll really have a winner!

[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] would be my vote. IMHO [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] is too modern, trendy to pair with [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] or [name_f]Edith[/name_f].

The name [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is fine but I’ve known too many Evelyns to find it interesting. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] all have similar sounds so it’s not ideal. [name_f]Edith[/name_f] would be a more memorable choice.

I really love the name [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] sounds lovely, but with [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] it’s a bit too much so I’d stick with just [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] sounds nice as an alternative too

I like [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] better, style-wise and flow-wise.
