I really love the name [name]Edith[/name] but our surname is [name]McDuff[/name].
[name]Edith[/name] [name]McDuff[/name]
[name]Do[/name] you think we can get away with the TH and FF in the one name? We wouldnt be using a middle name.
Thanks.

It doesn’t strike me as too tough, especially if she will sometimes go by [name]Edie[/name]? I really like the name [name]Edith[/name]. If by chance [name]Edie[/name] is your main goal, you might consider [name]Eden[/name] or [name]Edina[/name] if the TH/FF thing bothers you too much (but I think it needn’t).
I think it is fine and [name]Edith[/name] is a sweet choice!
I think it sounds perfectly fine! And I think it’s a very sweet name.
I don’t like them together. There is too much thhhh, and ffff bumping into each other.
I don’t think its a problem at all. Theres also the french singer [name]Edith[/name] [name]Piaf[/name] and theres a TH/FF sound there and it sounds fine. I do think you should use a middle name however. If you’re unsure of the sound a middle name can break it up, and I don’t know any reason to not use a middle name.
If you really love the name, then I think you should go for it! I would just reccomend using a longer, flowy middle name to create balance. My personal fave would be [name]Edith[/name] [name]Rosamunde[/name]
