What do you think of the flow of [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]?
Would it be too much of a stretch to call him [name_u]Theo[/name_u] rather than [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]?
Thanks!

[name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] sounds good to me. [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] would make the most sense but [name_u]Theo[/name_u] would work too, it would just need more explaining
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] sounds good as a middle name for [name_m]Edward[/name_m].
I prefer nicknames [name_m]Eddy[/name_m] and [name_m]Ned[/name_m] but [name_u]Theo[/name_u] could work. I agree with the previous poster that it’d need some explaining since it’d be a nickname of his middle name which is pretty unusual, but if you don’t mind that then I don’t see why you couldn’t call him [name_u]Theo[/name_u].
I like it. Personally if I wanted the nickname [name_u]Theo[/name_u] I’d do [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m].
I wouldn’t understand if you called [name_m]Edward[/name_m] ‘[name_u]Theo[/name_u]’ unless he was going by his middle name of [name_m]Theodore[/name_m].
I think [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] is fine, but I like [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] nn [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] or [name_u]Theo[/name_u] better.
I like it, but if you like [name_u]Theo[/name_u], I would put [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] up front. (I guess the advantage of [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] as a nickname here would be that it works for both.)
Can’t use [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] as a first name – [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] rhyme, are both Roosevelts, and are both Chipmunks.
If we use [name_m]Edward[/name_m], we’d probably call him [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], but I prefer [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. Sigh.
Not sure about using [name_m]Edward[/name_m] even, since it would mean 3 out of 4 of our children have E names.
Naming this baby has proven very difficult for us!
[name_m]How[/name_m] about just [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] then? [name_u]Theo[/name_u] works fine as a stand alone. It’s on my list!
