Thoughts on [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]?
I like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but it’s too many syllables not to have a nickname, [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. I can’t use [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] because some people call me that. Thoughts?

I think it’s just fine. I think [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] are the most common nns for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], anyhow. Personally, I’d use [name_f]Lena[/name_f], but that’s just me. I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lena[/name_f]! [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f] would probably be my second choice, though (or maybe third. I like [name_f]Ella[/name_f], too).
[name_f]Lena[/name_f] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] are good suggestions too! Although [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] are probably too similar for me.
I love [name_f]Nora[/name_f]! Other options could include [name_f]Nell[/name_f], Nory, or maybe [name_m]Len[/name_m].
I think is is perfect - both are gorgeous names, and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is a great nn for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. You get the best of both worlds!
I love [name_f]Nora[/name_f] but I’m not too keen on [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is beautiful on its own and [name_f]Honora[/name_f] is a beautiful full name for it.
That being said, I do have a little cousin named [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] who goes by a nn and her middle – [name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f], which is darling.

I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is a common nickname, along will [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Nellie[/name_f], and [name_f]Nell[/name_f]. I’ve also heard [name_u]Nori[/name_u], [name_f]Lena[/name_f], and [name_f]Leni[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] with [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as a nickname works. I personally like [name_f]Noor[/name_f] as a nickname - it’s an Arabic name meaning “light” which I find really exotic and Eastern.
