What do you think of [name]Eleanor[/name]? [name]Do[/name] you prefer a different spelling? Is [name]Ella[/name] a good nn?
I knew a mean girl named [name]Eleanor[/name], so I would never use it, but it is a great, classic name with great namesakes. I like this spelling the best; [name]Elinor[/name] just doesn’t look right to me.
I love the nickname [name]Ellie[/name], but [name]Ella[/name] works well, too.
I love [name]Eleanor[/name]! If I didn’t like [name]Eloise[/name] so much, then [name]Eleanor[/name] would definitely be high on my list. I think [name]Ella[/name] is a great nickname as is [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Leni[/name], or [name]Nora[/name]. I also know a little toddler [name]Eleanor[/name] who get’s called E (pronounced ee) which I think is pretty sweet. I also like the [name]Eleanor[/name] spelling best. I believe it’s the spelling I’m most used to seeing, so it appears “correct”. Good luck!
I love [name]Eleanor[/name]! It’s very elegant, and not too popular (although it has been climbing in past years). I prefer the spelling now, [name]Elinor[/name] doesn’t seem finished to me. Like the previous poster’s suggestion of the nickname “[name]Nora[/name]”! I think [name]Nora[/name] is adorable on a little girl, but a nn that will age well also. Good luck!
I adore [name]Eleanor[/name]! I don’t mind the [name]Elinor[/name] or even the [name]Alienor[/name] spelling as it evokes a medieval feel, which I love.
[name]Ella[/name] works, but I much prefer [name]Nell[/name] or [name]Nora[/name].
I like the [name]Elinor[/name] spelling the best. I really like it as a name but over here most people would pronounce it ‘ell-eh-na’ instead of ‘el-eh-nor’ so I probably wouldn’t use it as that would just irk me all the time.
I really like [name]Eleanor[/name]. I never can decide which spelling I like the most,I go through phases when I can’t stand names with a’s in them, and then I prefer [name]Elinor[/name].
I have an [name]Eleanor[/name] and I love the name just-so, but she gets sooooo many different nicknames. E, [name]Els[/name], [name]Elsie[/name], [name]Elsie[/name] Bells, [name]Ellie[/name] (not my favourite, but what can you do?!?), Smell n’ Snore, Smelly…
I like [name]Eleanor[/name]…though slightly prefer [name]Ellen[/name].
I really like [name]Eleanor[/name]. Sometimes I prefer [name]Elinor[/name]. I even went through and Eilionoir phase.
I like [name]Elle[/name], [name]Nell[/name] and [name]Nora[/name].
I absolutely love [name]Eleanor[/name]! [name]Nora[/name] is my favorite nickname, followed closely by [name]Ella[/name].
I love it, but I see it so much in mentions that I’m starting to not care for it anymore.
[name]Ella[/name] is great nickname, I also like [name]Elle[/name].
I love the name [name]Eleanor[/name] and was very set on [name]Eleanor[/name] nn [name]Ella[/name] as my favorite name until [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name] became so popular! I still love [name]Eleanor[/name]. I think I like that spelling better than [name]Elinor[/name], I always feel like I should pronounce it differently because it looks different from what I think the “right” spelling is. As someone else said, I think it is just because that is how I see it more often. [name]Eleanor[/name] on its own I think is really lovely, but as a nn I like [name]Nell[/name] or [name]Nellie[/name] a lot!
