I just have a soft spot for the name [name]Eloise[/name]. [name]Elena[/name] is still beautiful, but I prefer [name]Eloise[/name]. Great choices!
I have always liked the name [name]Elena[/name]. It just seems so pretty.
[name]Elena[/name] is a lovely name, a truly international and versatile choice…but I just absolutely adore [name]Eloise[/name]. It’s at the top of my list.
I ended up voting [name]Eloise[/name], but it was very very very close! [name]Both[/name] are two of my favorite names (I love “[name]El[/name]” girl names). [name]Eloise[/name] to me is a little more timeless, but could also be more prissy seeming. [name]Elena[/name] is a a beautiful names as well-I love the way it sounds!
I chose [name]Eloise[/name]. I just like it better. It is a bit more sweet.
I voted for [name]Elena[/name] as it is a very elegant name and I adore the nn [name]Lena[/name]. Personally, I think [name]Eloise[/name] is a little too popular.
I voted for [name]Eloise[/name]. So many names have a similar sound to [name]Elena[/name] (also prn. issues w/this one, is it eh-lay-na or eh-lee-na), but [name]Eloise[/name] is so special with it’s own distinctive sound and a rich history of use, cross cultural appeal and choices of nn’s like [name]Lolly[/name] and [name]Elle[/name].
[name]Eloise[/name], it’s so pretty!
I like both names, but I like [name]Elena[/name] more than [name]Eloise[/name].
Thank you so much for all of the responses keep them coming!
I like both, but voted [name]Elena[/name] as I think the ‘loise’ sound in [name]Eloise[/name] is similar to [name]Louise[/name], which is a very common name in my area and generation, so [name]Elena[/name] is that bit more original.
I voted for [name]Elena[/name], I just love that name!
[name]Elena[/name]. It’s just so beautiful.
I do like them both, but I love the name [name]Elena[/name]. And in my mind, the name [name]Eloise[/name] belongs to [name]Eloise[/name] at the Plaza. I know it sounds silly, but for me it would be like naming my kid [name]Beyonce[/name] or [name]Madonna[/name].
