Elenora

I think I’m in love with [name]Elenora[/name] for my hypothetical future daughter!

The name ‘[name]Leno[/name]’ is a family name on my mothers side and from that I discovered [name]Lenora[/name], which I liked a lot but it didn’t feel quite right. So I stuck an E on the front to make [name]Elenora[/name]!

[name]Do[/name] you think it works without the conventional [name]Eleanora[/name] spelling?

I hate ‘kre8ive’ spelling personally, but as a mix of [name]Eleanor[/name] & [name]Lenora[/name], I think it works, even though it doesn’t seem to exist as a spelling in the 'berry database.

Plus this way I can safely use my favourite nickname of [name]Nell[/name], plus a whole host of other nicknames could work - [name]Nora[/name], [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Elle[/name], [name]Leni[/name] etc

[name]Eleanora[/name] is so uncommon anyway that I think the [name]Elenora[/name] spelling is fine.

I think the spelling of [name]Elenora[/name] is great!

I love [name]Eleanora[/name], spelled either way. I think it’s great that it honors your family, and that it’s uncommon. It’s a good, strong choice.

I like it! I think I’ve seen this spelling before. If I remember correctly, [name]Elenora[/name] was a top 1000 name in the early 1900s.

[name]Elenora[/name] is the name of my brother-in-law’s mother and she is the only person I know by that name. Her middle name is [name]Nadine[/name] and when I first heard it I didn’t much like it. But it does kind of roll off the tongue - [name]Elenora[/name] [name]Nadine[/name]. BTW - she is 81 years old.

Anyway, I like [name]Elenora[/name]. It’s different and classy.

I think it’s a beautiful name and I especially love [name]Nell[/name] and [name]Nora[/name]. Great choice!

[name]Elenora[/name] is beautiful. I think I prefer this spelling myself. Go for it!
