Two ls translates to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] better.
I actually have two friends with this name! One is [name_f]Elliana[/name_f] ([name_f]Elli[/name_f]), the other is [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] ([name_f]Ellie[/name_f]).
Eliana is more authentic to the Hebrew spelling
Eliana is straightforward. [name_f]Elliana[/name_f] looks wrong to me.
I think it depends on how you want it to be pronounced.
Eliana: el-E-[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Elliana[/name_f]: el-LEIGH-[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
At least that’s how I’d make the difference in my own head. That extra L would make it sound more like [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] than E.
