Elijah & Isaiah

Is [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] too similar to [name_u]Elijah[/name_u] to be siblings?
[name_m]Just[/name_m] came across [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] and love how it sounds but it’s probably way too close to [name_u]Elijah[/name_u] to be useable :frowning: I do like the ‘ah’ sound at the end of names tbh.

I’ve wondered the same thing myself and I’m always on the fence. On one hand, they have the same vibe, on the other…maybe too similar. I think it’s probably okay? If you already have an [name_u]Elijah[/name_u] and don’t want to use [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m], maybe [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]?

I don’t think so at all. I think they are gorgeous! Such a strong handsome sibling set I actually love the overall sound of the sibling set :shamrock:

Too close for me sorry :frowning: , all the vowels and the ‘ah’ sound too is just too much imo

I don’t think they’re too close.

They’re pretty close but I wouldn’t say unusable.

I know brothers named [name_u]Elijah[/name_u] and [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]. They have other brothers too and aren’t directly next to each other in age, but it’s never bothered me!

They’re kinda close, but I don’t think they’re so close they’re unusable! I think the middle sounds are just distinct enough.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you say it as eye-zay-uh or eye-zye-uh? I think the ‘zay’ pn could work

They’re quite close, but different enough I think. It might be a little tongue-twistery saying them together though.

What about [name_m]Ismaël[/name_m]?

They seem perfect together to me! Really different sounds honestly…

Yeah I’d always mix them up
