We are trying to decide on a boy name for baby #2. We are stuck between [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] or [name_u]August[/name_u]. Big brother’s name is [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]. Which sounds better together? HELP!
[name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] are very similar in style - both recognizably biblical names.
I prefer [name_u]August[/name_u], but [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] is an obvious sibset. Perhaps even a bit too matchy, same number of syllables, starting with a vowel, ending in a sound…
I definitely prefer [name_u]August[/name_u] in general. In your sibset, I still prefer [name_u]August[/name_u] - [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] is too matchy/rhymey for me.
I think [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] is a handsome combo though, if you dont have a middle name cemented just yet!
I was also thinking that [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] are very matchy but I thought maybe I was just overthinking it. So it’s nice to know that i wasn’t just paranoid about it. Thank you!
We don’t have any middle names yet so that is definitely an option!! I also am getting the feeling that [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] are too similar of names. Thank you!
[name_u]August[/name_u] sounds better to me in the sibset although both names are objectively nice.
As much as [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] match very well in terms of style, I prefer [name_u]August[/name_u] as a name and I think he works better with [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] soundwise.
I love both names, I think they’re both sweet and handsome. I agree that [name_u]August[/name_u] sounds better with [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m], though.

[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] are too much together I think. I like [name_u]August[/name_u] better.

[name_u]August[/name_u] is fabulous! And I agree that [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] would be very handsome as a combo 
[name_u]August[/name_u] as the first name definitely. [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] sounds lovely.
