i just wanted to talk about this sweet little name i’ve been crushing on as of late, and (of course) ask for your help.
i first fell in love with elin as an alternative for my long-time love, eleanor. i also love it because it’s reminiscent of helen, which is another honor name for me. in my opinion, elin gives sleek and cool scandinavian vibes, while still being sweet enough to wear well on a little girl.
done with my rant, now a few questions for you all.
what are your thoughts on elin?

elin is a sweet, warm and fresh name that makes me think of a bright and happy little girl.
as for the possible middles, i would pair it with names that have a calm and cozy vibe.
some suggestions:
elin autumn

I don’t have suggestions, but I think it would be nice to pair it with a long middle. [name_m]Classic[/name_m] but unexpected.

I love [name_f]Elin[/name_f] but in Scandinavia it’s pronounced with a long ‘eh’ sound. Eeh-lin, not Eh-lin or Ee-lin. Pronounciation could be difficult.

Given a choice I would select a name beginning with another vowel for a middle name. I like the sound of two vowel names together.
