What’s your favourite [name]Elliot[/name] spelling?
I’m trying to find a longer version of [name]Eli[/name] for my [name]Eli[/name] [name]Henry[/name] combo. I like [name]Eli[/name] [name]Henry[/name] as is, but I figured why not look for longer variants.
Other than [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Elijah[/name], [name]Elias[/name], what other [name]Eli[/name]- names do you suggest?
I like [name]Elliot[/name] the best by far with [name]Elliott[/name] being a distant second. I really don’t like [name]Eliot[/name] or [name]Eliott[/name] as they look incomplete. [name]Eli[/name] can stand alone, but if you want a longer name, [name]Elijah[/name] is the most natural way to get to [name]Eli[/name].
I prefer [name]Elliot[/name]. [name]Eliot[/name] or [name]Eliott[/name] look kinda like they would be pronounced [name]Eli[/name]-ott, though I doubt anyone would mispronounce them. [name]Elliott[/name] just has a bit too much repetition for me.
I really prefer [name]Elliott[/name]. My daughter was going to be [name]Elliot[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] T****** if she was a boy. We were going to go with [name]Elliot[/name] because the rest of the name had a lot of T’s going on.
I like [name]Elliot[/name]! [name]Elliott[/name] would probably be my second favorite spelling, followed by [name]Eliot[/name]. [name]Elias[/name] is my favorite way to get [name]Eli[/name], though.
I’ve also heard that [name]Felix[/name] could get the nn [name]Eli[/name]–I think [name]Felix[/name] [name]Henry[/name] is pretty cute.
Depends on my mood. I like [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Eliot[/name], and [name]Elliott[/name], though I favor the first two spellings a bit. [name]One[/name] spelling I do not care for is [name]Eliott[/name]. It just feels awkward.
[name]Elliott[/name] is my favorite, but I also like [name]Elliot[/name]. [name]Eliot[/name] seems incomplete and [name]Eliott[/name] just looks odd to me.
