My favorite is [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]. It looks clean and streamlined, but complete.
[name_u]Eliot[/name_u] looks wrong to me…
I think the other two are both widely accepted?
No matter which one you choose, it will always be misspelled by people. One t where there should be two, two where there should be one… I love this name regardless.
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] or [name_u]Elliott[/name_u]. But I agree it’s going to be misspelled because there is no “established” pronunciation.
I think [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] or [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] work best. [name_u]Eliot[/name_u] seems incomplete to me.
I love [name_u]Eliot[/name_u]. I know I’m def. the minority, except for maybe in [name_f]France[/name_f], Lol! My favorite spelling would probably be [name_u]Eliott[/name_u], however! I don’t really like the double L in the other spellings.
I prefer it with two l’s, though I don’t have a strong preference as to the number of t’s. But I also agree that no matter which spelling you pick, it’s going to get misspelled sometimes by people.
Thanks people!
I love all three variations and I loved to hear your opinions
