Elisabetta

What do you think of [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] “[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]”? Does it go with older brothers [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] & [name_m]Zachary[/name_m], & [name_m]Desmond[/name_m]? What about potential sister [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] “[name_f]Rose[/name_f]”?

[name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] matches good with [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], not as much so with the other names. However, I think the nickname [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] works very well with all of them! I don’t care for [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] at all.

I really like [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f], however it would stick out to me in your sibset since it’s very traditionally Italian and the other children’s names are not.

Unfortunately, he has vetoed [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] due to bad connections. He doesn’t mind it as a middle to honor my great aunt, but it’s a strict no as a first name. I’m having issues finding names he will say yes on or at least some what agree on, like [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f]. [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] has been the only name that has been a definite yes by him and is why it will be our first daughter’s name.

I really like [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] with your sibset, and I think it picks up the sounds of [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_m]Zachary[/name_m]. It is long and meaningful, just like your boys’ names. I love [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] on its own as well. Strong, feminine, and lots of style. I also love [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]! It combines some more popular sounds into an edgy yet sweet choice. Other ideas:

[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Eva[/name_f]: A long, elegant “E” name just like [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f], and although it is fairly rare it is not quite as unique as [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f], so it might serve as a middle ground with the more popular [name_m]Zachary[/name_m].
[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] nn [name_f]Bri[/name_f]: Another beautiful, flowy name with some of the sounds of [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] but also some from [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f].
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] nn [name_f]Aura[/name_f], [name_u]Ari[/name_u], or [name_u]Rory[/name_u]: Familiar but not at all ubiquitous, just like your boys’ names, with the long “o” of [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] as well as the “r” sounds. This name is beautiful, long, and with great imagery.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] nn [name_u]Penny[/name_u] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]: This seems like a natural alternative to [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] and that it meets in the middle between [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] and [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] in terms of flow and sounds. It suits your boys’ names so beautifully: It is just as regal as [name_m]Desmond[/name_m], just as refined as [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], as cool as [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and as strong as [name_m]Zachary[/name_m].
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lena[/name_f]: This name is bright, lovely, and long, and serves as a wonderful stylistic match with your boys. It has some of [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f]'s sounds, but is more popular and streamlined.

I think [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] totally works! Feels like a good match with [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_m]Desmond[/name_m], and nn [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] works well with brothers [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and [name_m]Zachary[/name_m].

I think you found a name that really glues together your very eclectic sibset!

[name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] is very pretty, but I don’t like it pronounced like [name_f]Elizabetta[/name_f], which I’m guessing is what you would be doing if you’re using [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] as a nickname.

I have heard of lilibet as a nickname, which is pretty adorable!

Oooo I love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], and [name_f]Helena[/name_f]! I love [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] too, but I am trying to avoid repeating first letters. I definitely will be asking SO about these!

No, I would be sticking to traditional pronunciation.

I do like [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f].
