Anyone? Please?

[name]Both[/name] are very pretty! [name]Elise[/name] feels a bit more timeless, whereas [name]Eliana[/name] feels like more of an “of the moment” name, which is why you’ll see [name]Elise[/name] getting so much more love on here (where the taste tends to be more classic, less modern). But [name]Eliana[/name] actually has some history of its own anyway, and it is pretty. With your last name, the 4-2 rhythm of [name]Eliana[/name] T. might be “better” in some ways, but with [name]Elise[/name] since the stress is on the second syllable, it mixes it up a bit anyway.

A thought to consider: with [name]Eliana[/name], the nn [name]Ellie[/name] seems sort of inevitable for beter or worse, with [name]Elise[/name], it’s possible, but seems less obligatory.

Good luck!

[name]Elise[/name] feels more elegant to me. [name]Eliana[/name] is pretty also (and I actually know two, a mom & daughter combo), but [name]Elise[/name] wins in my book. [name]Eliana[/name] also seems more likely to blend in with the rest of the popular -iana ending girl names and seem more common than it really is.

I voted for [name]Eliana[/name], simply because I like it better with the surname. Overall I have a huge love for [name]Elise[/name] (I spell it [name]Elyse[/name]) so I can see why and agree with other voters.

I love both. I had [name]Elliana[/name] on my list for a while but my husband didn’t care for it as much I as I did. [name]Elise[/name] is so elegant and timeless, in my opinion. [name]Eliana[/name] is so pretty too though. I voted [name]Elise[/name], but I like both a lot . Not much help, sorry.

[name]Elise[/name] all the way! [name]Eliana[/name] is too airy fairy princessy for me, and I am beyond tired of the nickname [name]Ellie[/name]. My friend named her DD [name]Elliana[/name] and doesn’t like the nn [name]Ellie[/name] because it is so popular, yet EVERYONE calls her daughter [name]Ellie[/name] against her wishes! I think people just naturally do it because [name]Elliana[/name]/[name]Eliana[/name] is 4 syllables and people get too lazy to say the whole name

I adore [name]Elise[/name] and wouldn’t give her a nickname!

[name]Eliana[/name] is beautiful.

I really don’t like [name]Elise[/name] at all.

My thoughts exactly!

[name]Elise[/name] is elegant. [name]Eliana[/name] is spunky. You really can’t go wrong.

I generally don’t like 2-2 names but [name]Eliana[/name] to me is a bit [name]OTT[/name] So I much prefer [name]Elise[/name].

What about [name]Elisabeth[/name]? You can call her [name]Elise[/name], [name]Eli[/name]?
