I prefer the [name_f]Elise[/name_f] spelling. I love [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. I think it is a name that can fit many different personality types.

I’d be inclined to pronounce [name_f]Elyse[/name_f] like el-eye-ze because it’s reminding me of Lysine or [name_m]Lysander[/name_m]. Very rarely can a Y be used to replace a vowel and retain the same sound.
