I know it makes more sense to use [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] if I love the nickname [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but I just prefer [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] more. I’m also fine with [name_f]Elise[/name_f] if [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is a bit of a stretch, so let me know your thoughts on it too.
I think it’s fine. I think [name_f]Elisa[/name_f] would make more sense, but you can definitely connect [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] to [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]. I mean, if [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] works for Margaret…
It’s completely fine. I’d use [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], (and other nns that are much less intuitive) so it’s not a stretch at all imo.
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] does make more sense but I don’t think [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is too much of a stretch
For me [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] sounds the same as [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] so theres no problem with [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].
I think it’s totally fine. [name_u]Li[/name_u]sa is short for [name_u]Eli[/name_u]zabeth, after all!
Honestly, a nickname is a nickname. People use nicknames like [name_f]Libby[/name_f] for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] and that skips whole syllables. I see nothing wrong with [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and if it bothers you, just spell it [name_f]Elisa[/name_f]. [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is also very cute.
