I adore this combo! I vote for [name]Elise[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]. I am not really fond of [name]Eliza[/name].

[name]Eliza[/name] is all English to me and sounds strange paired up with the very french [name]Madeleine[/name]. Like I am trying to speak two languages in the same sentence. We call that Franglais here in [name]Ontario[/name] and it isn’t a good thing.

[name]Elise[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name] is so much better!

How are you pronouncing Madeleine? mad-ah-LEN, mad-LEN, mad-ah-line, mad-ah-layn, mad-layn, mad-ah-lyn? That might affect which sounds better with it.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]. It was once upon a time on my own list.

I like [name]Elise[/name] better but [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name] sounds better together.

I prefer [name]Elise[/name] but [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name] sounds a little better in my opinion. I’m really not that fond of [name]Eliza[/name] though.

:bump: Anyone?

I voted for [name]Elise[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name] as it is such a feminine, girly name and it has gorgeous flow I find [name]Eliza[/name] a bit harsh in comparison with [name]Elise[/name] which is gentle.

Normally, I love [name]Elise[/name] much more than [name]Eliza[/name], but with [name]Madeline[/name], [name]Eliza[/name] sounds better.

I’m with uselesskitty on this one…

I like both, but [name]Eliza[/name] seems to have a little more oomph and personality to me.

I didn’t vote because I can’t decide.
It completely depends on who you plan on pronouncing [name]Madeleine[/name].

[name]Eliza[/name] if MAD-ə-lin or MAD-ə-lien (the sparklier [name]Eliza[/name] with the English [name]Madeleine[/name])
[name]Elise[/name] if ma-də-[name]LEN[/name] or mad-[name]LEN[/name] (the more romantic [name]Elise[/name] with the French [name]Madeleine[/name])

I am pronouncing [name]Madeleine[/name] MAD-eh-len.

I fine [name]Elise[/name] sounds better with Mad-eh-len.

I love both names/combos but I vote for [name]Elise[/name]. It has a better flow with your preferred pronunciation of [name]Madeleine[/name].

I voted for [name]Elise[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name] but I think both are a little L heavy.

I like both [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Eliza[/name].

Which one sounds better to you when you say it with your surname? That is how she is generally going to be introduced to people (other than when announcing the birth or if people ask about her MN at a later stage). I think that is an important consideration as well.

[name]Elise[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]!!

I think [name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is pretty by itself. But, I think it would sound better if you switched the two names around so, [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] would also be pretty. Whichever names you choose will be amazing! Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!
