Eliza VS. Elsa

Which one do you prefer? I’ve always loved [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] but lately I think [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] might be a good alternative. Wdyt berries?

I am sure that [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] will still well loved once the fad for [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is over. I much prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] anyway.

I much prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].

They are both gorgeous! But with Frozen out, I’d be afraid that everyone will start using [name_f]Elsa[/name_f].

They are both lovely but I still think I prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. It’s a classic! I also love [name_f]Elise[/name_f]…

I think both are great names but I prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].

As much as I like Frozen and the character [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], I’m not a fan of her name. I vote [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. She’s your first love anyway!

Lately I’ve been really loving [name_f]Elsa[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] but to me it’s not that special anymore.
I actually doubt that [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] will get much attention as a name. It might rise a few places but it’s popularity won’t explode.
So my vote goes to [name_f]Elsa[/name_f].

I love them both, it’s nearly impossible to choose. Personally my favorite is [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] so she could be called either, but If I had to pick one as a full name, I would probably choose [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. (or combine the two and go with [name_f]Elza[/name_f] instead)

They are both lovely classics but I’m afraid that Disney has turned [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] into a fad.
I prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. Agree that [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is turning into more of a fad. You could always use [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] and use [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] as a nickname, if you wanted to go that route. Either way, though, they are both great names!

I like [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is pretty, but [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] has more oomph. I always think [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] sounds like the name of a actress from the 60’s. I also like that it is used in some many different countries, and is unusual without being weird.

I prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is soft and pretty, maybe more feminine. But [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is strong and spunky!

I prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but [name_f]Ailsa[/name_f] is a good alternative to the now-popular [name_f]Elsa[/name_f].

Depends on what vibe you’re going for…

If you want a spunky, sassy literary gem choose…[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] (my choice)
If you want a more exotic name with Continental flair choose… [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] (beware: only name nerds would probably have noticed that charm of this name in the past but now it’s on the radar of the multitudes. Is that a stampede I hear in the distance? I hope not but I wouldn’t be surprised as it “fits” in with a popular trend: girls names of two syllable names that end in “a”).

I prefer [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. I never like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] (yes for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but not [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]). I know I’m weird…

I really adore [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. It is just more my style. I love vintage sweet names and I have a family connection with it as well. I really campaigned for [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] with my daughter, but my husband wasn’t feeling it. I still love it and would consider it for a middle name. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is really pretty as well.

I really don’t like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], never have, I think it’s the -[name_u]Isa[/name_u] ending. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] on the other hand is a family name of mine along with [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], I have been smitten with it for a very long time prior to Frozen, so it probably isn’t going anywhere. It sounds like loads of people on the board are falling in love with [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] primarily due to Disney. In real life, however, especially in Australia I doubt it’ll ever be that popular because it’s still seen as an “Old lady’s name.”

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]!

I like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] better than [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], but [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] better than [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] on its own. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] doesn’t seem like a full name to me for some reason. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] seems like a spunky redhead while [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] would be a demure, serious brunette.
