Elizabelle?

I keep thinking about [name_f]Elizabelle[/name_f]. I prefer it to both [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], but it’s a little… I don’t know, frilly? Which I don’t really mind, I guess, but I’d love some opinions on it. Nicknames I like are [name_f]Zibby[/name_f] and [name_f]Bella[/name_f]

I’m not a big fan, it just seems super trendy to me. Maybe [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] instead?

[name_f]Zibby[/name_f] is kind of fun. But [name_f]Elizabelle[/name_f] does nothing for me personally. I think there are so many prettier ‘[name_f]Belle[/name_f]’ names.

It’s pretty but to be honest it strikes me as the sort of a name a little girl would create for a doll. In that case it would be adorable, but it’s not something I could get behind for a real live human baby…for me it would lose the class and history of either [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].

It sounds made up to me so I definitely prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]

[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] are both beautiful names. [name_f]Elizabelle[/name_f] looks made up to me. I actually tried doing some research and could only get that it is a combination of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. Personally I feel the name lessens the beauty of the the separate names. Sorry.

Much too frilly and seems somewhat made up. Go with [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f].

Makes me think of Elizabite.

I like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] separately or as a two name combo, [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f], much more than smashed.

[name_f]Elizabelle[/name_f] is adorable. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name. Also like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f].

It is really cutesy. I genuinely like frilly names but this name is a bit ‘l’ heavy for me.
Maybe [name_f]Lilibet[/name_f]? It is frilly and cutesy.
I mean I’ve certainly heard alot worse names and there are no bad associations, so why not?

My main thing is that [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is such a well known name that [name_f]Elizabelle[/name_f] just confuses me. I think I will continually make the mistake of calling her [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and I’m sure others will do the same. But I do love the name [name_f]Zibby[/name_f].

What about just [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]? [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] are both adorable names but [name_f]Elizabelle[/name_f] is a bit of a mouthful to say.

I don’t mind the made-up looking names actually. It’s a big pet hate with other NBs though.

Dislike, sorry. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a solid classic and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is very soft and beautiful. [name_f]Elizabelle[/name_f] ruins it all (imo).

A question occurs to me: is it eh-[name_f]LIZ[/name_f]-a-belle, like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], with the “liz” sound and a short i, or eh-LYE-za-belle, with [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]'s “lye” sound?

[name_m]Way[/name_m] too frilly for me.

[name_f]Elizabelle[/name_f] is like two beautiful names smashed into one that is not great at all. Sorry.

I used to [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] it, but spelled [name_f]Elizabel[/name_f]. I think that helps tone down the frillyness. Thanks for reminding me of it  I like it pronounced with a short ‘i’, like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], just switch the -beth for -bel.
