We want to use the name [name]Elizabeth[/name] to honor my mother and [name]Grace[/name] is another family name. Our last name is [name]Lu[/name] and I’m not sure which flows best? We would love a name that is classy and timeless! Any advice would be great!!
[name]Grace[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], and [name]Caroline[/name] are all so gorgeous! I think [name]Grace[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Lu[/name] is so gorgeous, I would love to meet a little girl named [name]Grace[/name] [name]Lu[/name]. I love [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Caroline[/name], too, but I honestly like [name]Grace[/name] the best, especially with your surname.
Out of your choices, I like [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] the best. I also like the combination of [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Grace[/name], but I’m a little biased, since that’s MY name! Because your surname is shorter, I prefer [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Elizabeth[/name] paired with it. And I also like [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]!
I like [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Grace[/name] best, although it is a pretty common combination. Using [name]Elizabeth[/name] as a first name gives you so many nn possibilities, and [name]Grace[/name] is a nice short compliment to [name]Elizabeth[/name].
I don’t care too much for [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] seems like it’s been done, but reverse the latter and you’ve got a lovely, elegant name. So my vote goes for [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
Plus [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Lu[/name] is so mellifluous!
I personally would go with [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - [name]Elizabeth[/name] has such wonderful versatility and endless class and beauty.
I have a little [name]Elizabeth[/name] and it’s such a lovely name. My other daughter has the middle name [name]Grace[/name]! So I vote [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. EGL would be so pretty monogrammed as well. On another note, my [name]Elizabeth[/name] gets called [name]Lizzie[/name] [name]Lou[/name] quite often at our house. So that would be something to consider that someone might call your daughter [name]Lizzie[/name] [name]Lu[/name]. I think it’s cute!
With the ultra-short surname [name]Lu[/name], I don’t think you can use monosyllabic [name]Grace[/name]. I would select [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] as its classic and timeless, but a little less common than [name]Elizabeth[/name] alone, and the seven combined syllables do a lot to lengthen [name]Lu[/name].
Use all three perhaps? I think it flows beautifully, but then again I might be biased as it’s my name also. Caroline Elisabeth Grace has never been a problem with me, and I always get compliments when I say my whole name.
