Elizabeth variations

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there!

We have been playing around with variations of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Maybe as a middle but curious about a first name option…open to suggestions for first or middle combos. All hypothetical planning here

I love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Liza[/name_f], husband does not. I’m curious about Bella/ [name_f]Belle[/name_f] but not sure about it being too popular with [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] etc being popular. I love the -Elle names and -Ette names but my husband usually does not….some exceptions like [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] (can’t use it as a first name).

I am curious about [name_f]Lilibeth[/name_f] but would [name_f]Lilly[/name_f] as a nickname be too close to [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]? Again hypothetical Q, if we had a [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] as our first.

Other names we are liking right now to give you a sense of our vibe:

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_u]Zoe[/name_u]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_u]Abby[/name_u]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_u]Rose[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]

[name_u]Jack[/name_u]
[name_m]Andrew[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
[name_m]Calvin[/name_m]
[name_m]Dwaine[/name_m]

Thank you!

Could you do something like [name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] maybe? (as in the -el- and the beth of Elizabeth?)
[name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_u]Abby[/name_u] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] (Estelle as a nod to the beginning of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_u]Abby[/name_u] borrowing from the ‘-ab-’ part)

Some other ideas:

(not all are direct variants and some might be stretchy)

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] / [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Betsy[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_u]Billie[/name_u]
[name_f]Bethan[/name_f]
[name_f]Ishbel[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f]
[name_f]Ebba[/name_f] (from the Elizabeth)
[name_f]Embla[/name_f] (from [name_f]El[/name_f]izabeth)
[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ethel[/name_f] (end+start of name)
[name_u]Alba[/name_u] (from Elizabeth)
[name_f]Elina[/name_f]
[name_f]Liana[/name_f] (or Eliana)
[name_f]Eliska[/name_f]
[name_f]Bethel[/name_f]
[name_f]Liesl[/name_f] / [name_f]Liesel[/name_f]
[name_u]Izzy[/name_u]

I don’t [name_f]Lilly[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] at all, especially since [name_f]Lilly[/name_f] is a nickname. If you really wanted to stretch it, [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] has the initials LC (Elsie) which is a variation of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].

Suggestions:

[name_f]Bess[/name_f]
[name_f]Betty[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Libby[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Lisette[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabeau[/name_f]
[name_f]Ilsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Liliane[/name_f]
[name_f]Liliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilias[/name_f]
Betania
[name_f]Bethany[/name_f]
[name_u]Betony[/name_u]

I love [name_f]Elise[/name_f] as a version of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], even more than [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].
Here are some combinations:

[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] or [name_f]Luisa[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] or [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_u]Abby[/name_u]

I don’t think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Lilly[/name_f] are too close - they’re quite sweet as sisters!

[name_f]Elise[/name_f] / [name_f]Elissa[/name_f] (as an alternative to [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - too close to Lucy?)
[name_f]Betty[/name_f] / [name_f]Bette[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_u]Issy[/name_u] / [name_u]Izzy[/name_u]
[name_f]Bettina[/name_f]

Some stretchier ideas…
Sab / [name_f]Sabine[/name_f]
[name_u]Isa[/name_u]
[name_f]Aline[/name_f]
[name_f]Esti[/name_f] / [name_f]Estie[/name_f]
[name_f]Esther[/name_f]

[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a classic and timeless name
