I like [name_f]Colette[/name_f] more than [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]! Both are great names, but I know many Elizabeths and no Colettes, so that is why [name_f]Colette[/name_f] has my vote.

Ette is a cute nickname, but I am someone who prefers nicknames that start with the same letter as the real name (this is because my own nickname that I always go by doesn’t start with the same letter as my given name, and it is annoying in professional settings).

So as for [name_f]Colette[/name_f] nicknames that start with C, I really like [name_u]Coco[/name_u], and I think that [name_m]Cole[/name_m], Cola, and [name_m]Colie[/name_m] are also very usable :slight_smile:

I love both. [name_f]Colette[/name_f] has a dainty, balletic feel, very princess. I think of [name_f]Lana[/name_f] [name_u]Del[/name_u] [name_u]Rey[/name_u] music and [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] Coppola’s [name_u]Marie[/name_u] [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f]. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is beautiful, strong and majestic. I think [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] goes better with [name_m]Ford[/name_m], but [name_f]Colette[/name_f] is definitely more rare. :blush:

[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]! It’s a gorgeous classic and has a huge and fantastic variety of nicknames, of which [name_f]Libby[/name_f] is one of my absolute favorites. I think [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and its various nicknames are also super versatile and can fit just about every type of girl or woman.
