Elizaveta or Sasha?

Thanks!
Or any similar type of suggestions welcome.

I really like [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f] and the nickname [name_f]Liza[/name_f]. However where I live it would never be pronounced correctly.

[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] isn’t my cup of tea but it is more cross-cultural than [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f].

I like [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] much better!

I like [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f]. I named a character that once. I don’t personally like [name_u]Sasha[/name_u]. Not sure why.

I love [name_u]Sasha[/name_u]!

I love [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f]. Although [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] is gorgeous, it is a nickname to me; would you consider [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]/[name_f]Alessandra[/name_f]/[name_f]Alessia[/name_f] or [name_f]Natasha[/name_f] as a full name for it?

I love [name_u]Sasha[/name_u].

Mmm… not a fan of [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] at all… sounds very popstarish. I would definitely go with [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f].

[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] is cute. … sha sha nick name

I much prefer [name_u]Sasha[/name_u]. Such a spunky and pretty choice.

i like [name_u]Sasha[/name_u], however, I love [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f] especially nicknamed [name_f]Liza[/name_f].

I love [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] for a boy, and although [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f] is one of the more interesting [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] variations, I don’t actually like ti very much. However, it really reminds me of the Old Norse [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] variant, Ellisiv, which I find a little more wearable and sweet.
I would rather be named [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] than [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f].
[name_m]How[/name_m] do you like [name_f]Violeta[/name_f]?

Thank you for the responses everyone!
Still torn. Also appreciate the other recommendations, I love names of the Russian variety.
I actually never thought of it but although it would be for a girl, [name_u]Sasha[/name_u], I do love it for a boy as well.
I think [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f] is really pretty but am unsure of how well people would be able to pronounce it.

I prefer [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] too. [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f] is just too much of a mouthful to me.

I like [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f].

[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] is a nice name, and overall I think it’s a nicer name than [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f], because that’s really a mouthful. 5 syllables! I knew an [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f]. Everyone called her [name_f]Lizzy[/name_f].

Are you interested in Russian names particularly?

I really love …

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]
[name_f]Natasha[/name_f]
Kseniya (or [name_f]Ksenia[/name_f])
[name_f]Kira[/name_f]
[name_f]Oksana[/name_f]

If you like the -sha ending, there’s [name_f]Masha[/name_f] (which is a diminutive for [name_f]Maria[/name_f]) or [name_u]Mischa[/name_u], which I like a lot but it is typically a boys’ nickname in [name_f]Russia[/name_f], though made famous for girls by [name_u]Mischa[/name_u] [name_m]Barton[/name_m].

My main reservation against [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] unfortunately is the fact that it’s used by the infamous [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. That’s just my personal association, but I also think of [name_f]Beyonce[/name_f]'s “[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] Fierce” or [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] [name_m]Obama[/name_m]. It seems like it might be bordering on a little too trendy…?
