We wanted to use the name [name_f]Elise[/name_f] to honour a family member but I came across [name_f]Elize[/name_f]…
Which do you prefer… how different do you hear/pronounce the names?
thanks!
p.s due date is today but still no babe! lol

I prefer [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. elise is so cute! When i see [name_f]Elize[/name_f] i think it should be [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. I do love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] though.
My thoughts.
I adore [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], love [name_f]Elise[/name_f], not too fond of [name_f]Elize[/name_f].
Definitely [name_f]Elise[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Elise[/name_f] personally. But if you’re going to go with [name_f]Elize[/name_f], I’d recommend adding an “a” and making it [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. Most people will call her that anyway or write it that way because that’s what people are used to seeing/hearing. That constant mistake may make you crazy.
[name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Elize[/name_f] just looks wrong
Definitely either [name_f]Elise[/name_f] or [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]! (Personally I like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] more but both are great names!)
I would say [name_f]Elize[/name_f] with a “z” sound: [name_f]Elle[/name_f]-ee-z. [name_f]Elise[/name_f] I would pronounce [name_f]Elle[/name_f]-ee-s. I much prefer [name_f]Elise[/name_f] as [name_f]Elize[/name_f] makes me think I’m falling asleep with I say it.
[name_f]Elise[/name_f], definitely. [name_f]Elize[/name_f] to me sounds like: ee-leeeze
