Visiting some friends in a small town and I’ve come across some great names and really bad names but I saw this sibset in an obituary for [name]Ella[/name] [name]Belle[/name] (born 1920) siblings: [name]Gladys[/name] [name]Viola[/name], [name]Willie[/name] and joe (my guess [name]William[/name] and [name]Joseph[/name]).
Wdyt nameberries? I’m going to have a really kre8tive list soon
I really like [name]Gladys[/name] [name]Viola[/name]. It’s sweet and vintage and sounds nice. [name]Ella[/name] [name]Belle[/name] is nice but kind of runs together. It reminds me of a combo I came up with…[name]Octavia[/name] [name]Violet[/name].
Ellabelle… ooosh! Someone didn’t say it out loud before they signed the certificate. Or praps it didn’t bother them. The boys’ names sound very tame in comparison. Good to see someone else reads the obituaries for name-seeking. Nameberry has been an eye-opener!
I really like the name [name]Gladys[/name]. GP of mine. It’s lovely with [name]Viola[/name]. Makes a nice change from kreeighaeytivitteigh. [name]Ella[/name] [name]Belle[/name] is a bit rhymey but I like the names on their own. [name]William[/name] and [name]Joseph[/name] are also very nice, especially [name]William[/name]. But ‘willy’ is the term most kids over here in the UK use to mean ‘penis’ so I would avoid that nn over here. It probably sounds cute in the US.
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Belle[/name] … hehe. Not too fond of the name [name]Gladys[/name] but [name]Viola[/name] is kind of nice. [name]Willie[/name] on its own was once quite a popular name on its own, especially in the south. It was quite common in the south even until 1970 or so. [name]Joe[/name] and other nickname names for boys were once a lot more common. Lots of [name]Billy[/name], [name]Jimmy[/name], [name]Ricky[/name], [name]Randy[/name]…
